• This pivotal role supports our mission in Applied R&D by tackling complex technical challenges through multi-disciplinary design and implementation.
• You'll engage in E2E Network Integration, Functional Regression, and Call Processing testing, while also debugging intricate issues both in the lab and field.
• Your expertise with Qualcomm MTPs and Commercial UEs, along with your ability to debug QXDM logs, will be pivotal in delivering innovative solutions.
• You will serve as the primary point of contact for Network Elements, ensuring seamless upgrades and configurations.
• You will execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring accuracy and completeness in Quality Centre and DCT.
• You will develop detailed test plans for OAM/CP features, enhancing the functionality of Small Cells Gateway and FEMTO NLT.

Key Skills And Experience
You have:

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Femtocell (Small Cells) and 4G/5G technologies
• Experience in End-to-End testing and verification in the 5G domain
• Proficient in root cause analysis for feature testing execution
• Familiarity with the latest 5G features including ENDC, CBRS, Dual Cell, and L2/L3 testing
• Hands-on experience with Qualcomm MTPs, Commercial UEs, and debugging QXDM logs
• Capability to configure gNBs with cOAM, SeGW, and troubleshoot network issues
• Competency in creating CRs and effectively collaborating with developers for fixes
• Ability to update QC/DCT promptly after testing

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and execute automation test suites for HeadSpin's platform, focusing on mobile, web, audio, and video applications.
• Capture data and complete analysis on mobile applications
• Create a dashboard with the data captured and provide it to the customer
• Assist customers with automation where applicable
• Identify test automation opportunities to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Understanding of iOS and Android applications and UI structure and building tooling to automate interactions

Role Description

The software development is done in separate Scrum/DevOps teams, that take responsibility for both the functionality and the quality of the delivered software. The ambition is to be a true continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) department, which requires a high level of test automation.

The Test Automation Engineer (TAE) participates in the refinement process with all stakeholders to identify risks and define the test approach. During the Scrum sprints the TAE supports the teams by developing new or changed automated tests. In the test phase the TAE will partly aid in the manual testing and setting up of test scenarios. In the acceptance phase the TAE will support the stakeholders with their acceptance tests.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

- Participate in the definition of test and quality metrics and the measurement and reporting of these

- Architect, develop, and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java

- Deliver test criteria and test approach for all refined user stories

- Explain the test approach to both stakeholders and developers

- Enforce test automation in the scrum sprints, define the minimal required test coverage and reports on coverage and performance

- Enforces the required amount of test automation, also when there is significant pressure on timely delivery of roadmap items
