**What you will do**
The Test Architect is a Software architecture and development role that reports to the Principal Engineering Manager. This role is part of a team of testers & developers whose responsibilities will include but not limited to the architecture/design, development, interaction with representatives of other cross functional teams to understand requirements and strategies for the project, writing specification documents, implementation of complex automation frameworks, assist with customer issues reported to support. This position requires the ability to lead sprint teams to design, develop and deliver robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.
**How you will do it**
You should be hands-on technical leader working closely with your peers in engineering, product management and senior management in the company to deliver best of breed solutions with your technical stewardship. You will be responsible for below critical functions in helping us design leading products.
**What we look for**
- Educational qualification - BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA
- Must have 12-18 years relevant experience in software development/automation engineering. (at least 5 years relevant experience in designing test Automation frameworks)
- Experience in designing frameworks using Java, JavaScript, SQL Server, Restful APIs (at least 5 years relevant experience).
- Familiar with Testing frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor, Coded UI, Jasmine or equivalent.
- Proficient in load, performance, and functionality testing of new products/product features as well as regression testing of existing products.
- Proven experience of working with data migration, data warehousing and data validation.
- Strong detail-orientation with demonstrated analysis and follow-through skills.
- Familiar with Dev ops practices & CI/CD automation process.
**Preferred**
- Domain Knowledge in BMS, HVAC, Sustainability is a plus.
- Familiarity with virtualization and containers technologies.
