**Responsibilities**:
QA testers run various tests on software to ensure it meets all standards and guidelines and is ready to be marketed to consumers. They identify issues and run debugging programs as needed.
QA testers also generate reports, work with software developers to correct issues, and upgrade databases as required. Your job may include:
- Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
- Root cause analysis
- Executing tests on software usability.
- Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
**Requirements**:
- Like programming
- Have good conceptual knowledge of testing methodology.
- Be a quick learner
- Detail-oriented and good organizational skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field.

The Design, Test, Validation, Firmware and software teams are based in Bangalore.**
As a test engineer, you will be responsible for the following -
+ Work with the product definition and design team, before silicon availability to thoroughly understand test requirements.
+ Generate test plan, create test and char program, design ATE hardware interface boards
+ Work on balancing the tradeoff between test coverage, test time and cost for various markets and product portfolios
+ Define and own a test plan and schedule with coverage of all the use-cases and corner conditions.
+ Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time
+ Development of test circuits, algorithms which enables more test capability, faster test times.
+ Drive reviews with extended team for boards, test results and debug. Negotiate to relax/tighten datasheet specs to meet best trade-off between performance and yield.
+ Work with cross functional teams (Systems, Apps, TE, PE, Quality) to support customer issues debug, root cause analysis and solution identification.
+ Work with production team to release products to volume production

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
+ 5+ years of relevant experience, 8+ preferred
+ ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT), although Eagle experience is preferred and is a differentiator
