**Your role and responsibilities**
· Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code, and test web-based applications, and support those applications for our highly valued customers.
· Employ IBM's Design Thinking to create products that provide an optimal user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability.
· Document general processes and practices as needed.
· Team collaboration to maintain end-to-end ownership and delivery code sources owned by the MultiCloud SaaS Platform UI Squad.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
· 7+ Years of Information Technology Experience
· Experience with Selenium Test Automation
· Experience with JAVA
· Experience with API testing and API automation
· Deep understanding and demonstrable application of Agile best practices.
· Demonstrable hands-on expertise in cloud technologies.
· Team-mindset: Willingness to collaborate and iterate.
· Growth-mindset: Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
· Test Automation Management/Team leadership experience
· Experience in other Automation frameworks, such as CodeCeptJS etc
· Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
· JavaScript experience
· Jenkins experienceAbility to see clarity in complex situations.
· Flexible and willing to adapt to quickly changing product requirements.
· Proven ability to work on multiple projects.

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Automation QA Engineer to head our QA team and drive automation-first quality practices across our global product development lifecycle.
