**Responsibilities:**
+ Report to the Training Lead and support the execution of the overall OCM training strategy.
+ Collaborate with the OCM team and subject matter experts to understand training needs arising from organizational changes and transformation initiatives.
+ Analyze target audiences and their learning requirements to inform the design of effective training solutions.
+ Design and develop engaging training materials, including instructor-led presentations, job aids, quick reference guides, and other supporting documentation.
+ Develop online courseware using e-learning development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Rise, and others.
+ Assist in the management and administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, user management, and reporting.
+ Contribute to the development of training plans and schedules.
+ Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, communication, and resource allocation.
+ Support the delivery of training sessions, potentially including virtual and in-person facilitation under the guidance of the Training Lead.
+ Gather feedback on training effectiveness and contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and delivery methods.
+ Maintain training documentation and ensure materials are up-to-date and accessible.
+ Assist in the development of communication plans related to training initiatives.
+ Contribute to the development of metrics and reports to track training participation and impact.
+ Stay informed about best practices in training design, development, and delivery.

**Required Technical and Professional Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in a training development or instructional design role.
+ Experience in designing and developing training materials for various delivery methods (instructor-led, virtual, self-paced).
+ Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
+ Demonstrated proficiency with at least one online training development tool (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Rise).
+ Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and functionality.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
+ Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
+ Experience with video editing and multimedia development.
+ Knowledge of change management principles.
+ Experience in a consulting environment.
+ Familiarity with project management basics.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Create and deliver comprehensive training programs for outpatient coding professionals, covering CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, NCCI edits, and payer-specific guidelines
+ Stay conversant with changes in coding guidelines (CMS, AMA, AHA, ACEP guidelines) and integrate them into training materials and team communication
+ Prepare training content, SOPs, reference guides, and maintain accurate training records
+ Provide one-on-one coaching and group instruction on CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding for emergency services
+ Responsible for new transitions, tracking coding performance through audits, quality reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance
+ Support coders with complex case resolution, documentation improvement education, and coding clarification
+ Collaborate with coding leadership to implement training strategies based on audit outcomes and performance metrics

**Required Qualifications:**
+ AAPC/AHIMA Certification: CPC, COC, CCS
+ Additional certifications such as CEDC (Certified Emergency Department Coder)
+ 8+ years of hands-on Surgery medical coding experience, with 5+ years in training, mentoring or quality role
+ Solid knowledge of US healthcare RCM system
+ Familiarity with EMR/EHR, compliance standards, auditing platforms
+ Proven excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation
+ Proven effective communication skills for provider interactions, solid analytical skills, presentation skills
+ Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadline
**Preferred Qualification:**
+ Bachelor's degree in health information management, life science or a related field
