About the Role
Navi is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead and scale our growing design team. This is a critical leadership role for someone who is not just an expert in design, but an expert in building a team that is "ruthless" in its approach to problem-solving. Your core responsibility will be to lead a team of talented designers who are experts in taste, data, and problem-solving, and who act as a force for alignment across the company. Must Haves
- 7+ years of experience in product design, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a formal management or leadership role.

- A strategic portfolio that demonstrates how your leadership and design vision drove significant business impact and customer value.
- Deep domain expertise in fintech or a related industry.

Key job responsibilities

As a Design Program Manager, you will be the operational backbone of the product design team, driving operational excellence, process improvement, and team enablement across product design functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, optimize how we work, and ensure adherence to best practices.

This role will sit on a local product design team consisting of UX designers and a front-end engineer but will collaborate closely with the central Design & Creative Operations team (which is embedded in the larger Design team at Amazon Music. This team is responsible for establishing the end-to-end workflow and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for creative collaboration with all engineering, product, and marketing partner teams. We set the standard for the process, earning trust with all partners, biasing for action when working within tight parameters, and using sound judgment to make decisions in areas of ambiguity or uncharted territories. The team plays a key role in high-level reporting, defining and tracking key performance metrics, and maintaining comprehensive documentation on our operational processes and best practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of program or project management experience
- 4+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 4+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Knowledge of and experience with human-centered design processes and project management methodologies.
- Experience in process improvement and team enablement initiatives
- Familiarity with user research methodologies and experiment design
- Financial acumen and budget management capabilities (experience managing budgets and vendors)

We are seeking an experienced leader to lead the end-to-end user experience strategy, design execution, and team development for our products. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global UX design team, guiding designers through ideation, prototyping, and delivery of high-quality user experiences.
- Define and implement UX strategies aligned with product and business goals.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into seamless user journeys.

Experience Required

- Proficiency in tools like Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
- Proven experience managing and scaling UX teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Background in HCI, Interaction Design, Product Design, or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
