**What You Will Do**:
- Conduct user research to understand the needs, motivations, and behaviors of users, particularly in the live streaming and digital entertainment domains.
- Plan and execute various types of UX research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, surveys, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to integrate research findings into product development processes.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights for product and design improvements.
- Work closely with the design and product teams to ensure user-centered design principles are applied throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify and explore new research methodologies tailored to live streaming and social engagement platforms.
- Synthesize research findings into reports, presentations, and persona models to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Keep up with industry trends, particularly in live streaming and digital entertainment, and provide recommendations for improving the user experience.
**Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience**:
- 1-3 years of experience in UX research, preferably in the live streaming, social media, or digital entertainment industries.
- Deep understanding of live streaming user behaviors and trends, including knowledge of key platforms (Twitch, YouTube Live, etc.).
- Strong experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Ability to plan, conduct, and analyze research independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence product and design decisions.
- Familiarity with UX tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, and research tools like Hotjar, Maze, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Passion for user-centered design and creating seamless digital experiences.
**Nice To Have**:
- Experience working on gamification elements within apps or platforms.
- Prior work experience with a fast-growing startup or digital media company.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
