Position Overview
The Vice President – Engineering will lead Mobileum’s global roaming software engineering organization, expected to be responsible for a subset of products under Roaming and Network Services Business Unit - Development team. This role requires a unique blend of deep telecom technical expertise and strong leadership skills to oversee architecture, design, and delivery of innovative roaming products.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Technical Leadership
- Define the engineering strategy for Mobileum’s roaming product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business and product goals.
- Provide deep technical oversight in telecom protocols, mobile core network architecture, and signalling analysis.
- Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and customer delivery teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and industry standards.

Technical Expertise in Roaming & Networks
- Lead product engineering efforts for:
Telecom protocols & technologies: SS7, Diameter, GTP, MAP, SIP, SCTP.
Mobile core network architecture: 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
Roaming & interconnect services: voice, SMS, data, IoT/M2M.
Signaling flow analysis: troubleshooting complex call/session scenarios.
- Drive the design of in-path products meeting latency, uptime, redundancy, and high-availability standards.
- Champion CI/CD deployment methodologies.

People & Operational Leadership
