We're not just building better tech. We're rewriting how data moves and what the world can do with it. With Confluent, data doesn't sit still. Our platform puts information in motion, streaming in near real-time so companies can react faster, build smarter, and deliver experiences as dynamic as the world around them.
It takes a certain kind of person to join this team. Those who ask hard questions, give honest feedback, and show up for each other. No egos, no solo acts. Just smart, curious humans pushing toward something bigger, together.
One Confluent. One Team. One Data Streaming Platform.
**About the Role:**
This role is a direct report to the CPO and leads our Confluent Platform product management team of around 20 professionals, helping to maximize the impact of the work of several hundred platform engineers and drive hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. Confluent Platform includes our self managed Kafka, Governance, Connect and Stream Processing offerings, which work standalone, or through connection to our Cloud offerings.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Work closely with the CPO and the other Product Line PM leaders to mesh our strategic company goals with individual product goals and our product capabilities/architecture roadmap
+ Ideate, design, and deliver next-generation product capabilities that enable increased customer scale, and consistent, secure, and usable customer experiences
+ Evolve and reignite our product management approach to maximize joint engagement with product teams on customer outcomes and shared success
+ Lead our Confluent Platform offering through evolution from a primarily self hosted, disconnected product to a coherent hybrid deployment model that can seamlessly integrate with our cloud offerings.
**What You Will Bring:**
+ A minimum of 10 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B and with developer-focused products
+ 10+ years of leadership experience
+ Experience leading platform teams to deliver a foundation that maximizes product velocity, reliability, and consistency

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
**What Gives You an Edge:**
+ Experience leading complicated enterprise products through significant scale
+ Experience managing a hybrid product that is partially self managed by customers, partly connected to a cloud control plane.
**Ready to build what's next? Let's get in motion.**
**Come As You Are**
Belonging isn't a perk here. It's the baseline. We work across time zones and backgrounds, knowing the best ideas come from different perspectives. And we make space for everyone to lead, grow, and challenge what's possible.
We're proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. Employment decisions are based on job-related criteria, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other classification protected by law.
