**Application Development Lead Analyst**
**Position Overview**
In this role, you will provide hands-on software engineering and production support for one of our enterprise Finance Technology teams. You will be working on enterprise financial and accounting systems critical to the operational success of Evernorth Health Services, US Employer, and International business segments within The Cigna Group. The focus of the work will be to ensure the operational stability of our Virtual Trader & Spreadsheet server application suite.
This is a hands-on position with visibility to the highest levels of Finance Technology management who are motivated to see the successful results of our efforts. The role focuses on enabling Cigna's financial transformation to the cloud using the latest technologies and development techniques within the Oracle cloud infrastructure stack, including Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support Finance Reporting tools like Spreadsheet server, Oracle application express (APEX) Office Print reports for Virtual trader application.
+ Support Data replication tools like Angles for Oracle.
+ Architecting Automation, deployment and migration using DevOps tools.
+ Perform proof-of-concepts and create simulations to prove out solutions.
+ Design the Functional specifications for technology production support and project teams.
+ Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging and delivering reporting applications.
+ Design, develop and maintain APEX reports, spreadsheet server reports
+ Performance tuning experience of SQL queries.
+ Stay updated on product features and best practices.
**Required Skills:**
+ Expert in building reports using Oracle Application Express (APEX) tool.
+ Strong knowledge of Apex Office Printing (AOP) configuration and template development.
+ Working experience with Virtual Trader is strong plus.
+ Design, develop, and enhance financial reports using Insight Spreadsheet Server for Oracle ERP.
+ Hands-on experience with Insight Software Spreadsheet Server, including report building and administration.
+ Automate tasks and reports using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in Excel.
+ Integrate and transform data from Oracle and other sources for use in spreadsheet and PDF reporting.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in Java/J2EE and 2+ years on any Cloud Platform; Bachelor's in IT, CS, Math, Physics, or related field.
- Strong skills in Java, J2EE, REST, SOAP, Web Services, and deploying on servers like WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss.
- Proficient in UI development using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular and React.

We are looking for visionary IT leaders to take full ownership of end-to-end project delivery. You will lead complex initiatives—starting from requirements gathering, through design, development, QA, deployment, and ongoing support. These are fully custom-built applications designed to either integrate with or replace existing Oracle ERP systems, requiring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership.

1. Oracle Financials (R12 & Cloud)
