Job Description

**Responsibilities:**
+ Automation Development & Maintenance - Design, build, and maintain robust automated test suites using Python (pytest, Selenium, API testing) and UiPath (RPA workflows where applicable). Own automation for regression, smoke, and integration tests across Salesforce and the mobile app; keep suites reliable, fast, and easy to run.   
+ Manual & Exploratory Testing - Execute manual test cases and exploratory testing where automation is not appropriate (UI/UX checks, complex edge cases). Validate Salesforce configurations (Flows, Apex triggers, metadata deployments) and mobile user flows on real devices and emulators.
+ CI/CD & Test Orchestration - Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions); coordinate nightly runs, test environments, and automated reporting. Triage failures and work with Dev/DevOps to improve pipeline reliability and test flakiness.
+ Test Strategy & Data Management - Author and maintain test plans, acceptance criteria, and test data strategies (including synthetic data, data seeding for sandboxes). Ensure test coverage aligns to business risk and release scope.
+ Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing - Advocate for quality best practices, mentor peers on automation patterns, and evaluate new QA tools/techniques (mobile device farms, test observability, automated accessibility checks).
**Requirements:**
+ 3+ years in software QA with a strong emphasis on automation; experience split across web, Salesforce, and mobile testing preferred.
+ Hands-on with Python-based test frameworks (pytest, unittest), web UI automation (Selenium or similar), and API testing (requests, Postman).   
+ Comfortable working with Salesforce metadata, testing deployments, and validating integration touchpoints.  
+ Strong Python programming skills and test framework design.
+ Practical UiPath development experience - building, debugging, and deploying RPA workflows.
+ Proficiency in UI and API testing, test data management, and writing clear test cases and automation.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Perform application design and development for a key business PLM application(s).- Perform DevOps release management and incident managemt following ITIL framework.
- Analyze, design and develop new processes, programs, and configuration, taking into account the complex interrelationship of system-wide components.
- Provide system-wide support and maintenance for a complex system or business process. Maintain and modify existing processes, programs and configuration through use of current Information Technology toolsets.
- Complete life-cycle testing (unit and integration) of all work processes including cross platform interaction.
- Troubleshoot, investigate and persist. Develop solutions to problems with unknown causes where precedents do not exist, by applying logic and inference with persistence and experience, to see the problem through to resolution. Confer with the stakeholder community on problem determination. Make joint analysis decisions on cause and correction methods. Perform tasks necessary to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Write and maintain all documentation supporting primary area of responsibility. This documentation may serve as input for management presentations or as training material for stakeholder community and operations support group.
- Draw solutions from others and recommend courses of action, all the while, growing understanding of company culture and business practices.

**Required Education and Experience**
- Minimum 6-9 years development experience with SmarTeam PLM is required. - Minimum 6-9 years of experience developing with C++ or C#, & SQL
- Experience with DevOps toolchains like Jira or equivalent.
- Experience with modern CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
- Experience with code repository such as SVN, GitHub, or equivalent.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs or equivalent.
- Experience with CAD or CATIA V5 or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.

POSITION SUMMARY:


The AVP, Application Development oversees software development of all current customer engagement technology offerings (e.G. LOS, LMS, Customer Service, Self-service, Mobile APP). This role will also be the key leader responsible. The AVP, Application Development will provide thought leadership to the development group and help to set the overall technical direction and strategies for supporting the business. Working with various business teams to understand and inform business strategy and then establish and deliver on an IT roadmap, this person is responsible for ensuring quality and on time delivery. Requires extensive collaboration with business teams and other technology leaders and must have strong impact and influencing skills and executive presence.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Have hands on experience in Development, Design, Delivery and Production Support of DOT NET Applications.
  • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.G. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
  • Knowledge of the .NET languages (e.G. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
  • Provide overall technology leadership for Service agile program and the respective teams consisting of cross-functional delivery skills (product definition, configuration, development, QA, and technology production support - Level 3)

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and delivery of complex end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and data layers.
  • Make strategic architectural decisions on frameworks, datastores, and performance patterns.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5 years building production Full stack applications end-to-end with measurable impact.
  • Proven leadership in Agile/Scrum environments with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Deep expertise in React (or Angular/Vue) with TypeScript and modern CSS methodologies.
  • Proficient in Node.Js (Express/NestJS) or Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) or Java (Spring Boot).
  • Expert in designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs and scalable database schemas.
  • Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL indexing, NoSQL (ElasticSearch/DynamoDB), and caching (Redis).
  • Knowledge of Containerization (Docker) and commonly used AWS services such as lambda, ec2, s3, api gateway etc.
  • Skilled in unit/integration (Jest, pytest) and E2E testing (Cypress, Playwright).
  • Frontend profiling (Lighthouse) and backend tracing for performance tuning.
  • Secure coding: OAuth2/JWT, XSS/CSRF protection, and familiarity with compliance regimes.
  • Strong communicator able to convey technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in reviewing pull requests and providing constructive feedback to the team.
