About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and SQL to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, work closely with the development team, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java .
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using Automation frameworks .
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and Feature files using BDD .
• Execute automated test suites, analyse results, and report defects using tools like ADO or similar.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks (BDD).
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
• Provide detailed defect reports and support debugging activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Min 6-8 years of experience in software testing with strong automation skills.
• Min 5 years’ experience with Java & Selenium.
• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver with Java .
• Strong understanding of BDD frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with SQL for database validation.
• Experience on Maven for build management.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC .

Good to Have

• Experience with API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of any CI/CD tools.
• Experience on Banking domain.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

• Designing TA solutions which are maintainable, extensible, modular & follow good industry practices.
• Design and implement high quality, reusable and scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile API and desktop applications.
• Promote adoption of AI driven testing tools and methodologies where applicable.
• Creating and maintaining TA frameworks, TA solutions which can be used by all/many projects & programs with TA across a company

Required Skills:

• Develop and execute performance and load testing for a large scale microservice based application
• Use Load Runner, JMeter (or other similar tools) to design and execute Load, Performance tests for Web/desktop applications & its backend services.
• Hands on programming experience of Python or similar scripting language
• Prepare data for execution, analyse data gathered from performance tests
• Report findings, log defects and partner with development team in resolving them
• Hands-on experience in executing UNIX commands, writing SQL queries, and managing databases to support testing and debugging processes effectively.
