**Position Overview**
We are seeking a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and support secure, scalable, and high-performing Microsoft Azure solutions. This role is equal parts build and run-requiring strong engineering skills to deliver new capabilities as well as operational expertise to maintain and optimize existing environments.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in troubleshooting complex issues, and is passionate about automation, efficiency, and reliability. You will work closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure our Azure infrastructure remains robust, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Engineering & Deployment**
+ Design, implement, and configure Azure resources including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
+ Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) to enable consistent, automated deployments.
+ Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
+ Collaborate with application teams to support deployments, integrations, and environment configuration.
**Daily Operations & Support**
+ Monitor cloud infrastructure health, performance, and costs using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve Azure infrastructure and service issues in coordination with cross-functional teams.
+ Perform regular patching, updates, and configuration changes to ensure systems are secure and compliant.
+ Respond to incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with SLAs.
**Automation & Optimization**
+ Automate operational tasks using Ansible and Terraform.
+ Continuously review and optimize Azure resource usage for performance, availability, and cost.
**Security & Governance**
+ Implement and manage RBAC, security policies, and governance controls in Azure.
+ Partner with security teams to meet compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
**Documentation & Knowledge Sharing**
+ Maintain detailed technical documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and operational processes.
+ Share knowledge and provide guidance to peers on Azure best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 5+ years in cloud engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
+ Hands-on experience with Azure services such as VMs, AKS, Functions, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, VNets, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
+ Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
+ Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
+ Automation experience in Terraform, Ansible and related scripting.
+ Familiarity with Azure monitoring and observability tools.
+ Understanding of Azure networking concepts (subnets, NSGs, firewalls, load balancers).

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain mission-critical Azure infrastructure for strategic client initiatives.
This role demands deep expertise in Azure, a security-first mindset, and hands-on experience across traditional architectures, containerized deployments, and modern serverless systems.
You'll play a key role in defining cloud architecture, driving DevOps automation, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across client environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation
- Architect and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Azure.
- Implement and manage services such as Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, etc.
- Design robust network topologies using VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Private Endpoints.
2. Monitoring, Optimization & Reliability
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
- Optimize costs through rightsizing and performance tuning.
- Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies aligned with RTO/RPO goals.
3. Automation & DevOps
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Automate deployments and workflows using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, or Python scripting.
- Support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
4. Security & Compliance
- Implement best-in-class cloud security practices and access controls.
- Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, client, and regulatory standards.
5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Stay current with the latest Azure technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
- 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Minimum 1 year in a senior or lead cloud engineering capacity.
- Proven success designing and implementing Azure-based solutions for enterprise clients.
Technical Skills
- Azure Networking: VNets, NSGs, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Link.
- Security: Azure AD, Key Vault, Defender, Sentinel, DDoS Protection.
- Automation: PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates.
- DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Containers: Docker, AKS (Kubernetes).
- Databases: Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Redis Cache.
- Strong understanding of multi-tier, high-security, and distributed architectures.
