JOB PURPOSE:
To lead the Brand and marketing function at JKLU to achieve the objectives w.r.t. Share of Voice, Execution to Plan adherence, SEO , Reputation, Media Relations and cost and quality of leads and enquiries.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategy
- Build and continuously refine branding strategy to position JKLU’s Programmes Effectively.
- Develop and drive an annual multi-channel, integrated, strategic communications plan.
- Acquire key segment insights of both Enterprise Customers and Individual Learners across priority Industry Verticals to build segment-specific strategy.
JKLU Brand Positioning with PR and Content Marketing
- Use PR and Content Marketing to position JKLU as the most trusted Institution among the target audience of students, parents and other stakeholders.
- Create coherent communication, collateral and content strategy and oversee its execution to support admissions
- Identify, evaluate and work with selected agencies and partners to achieve marketing objectives
Media & Influencer Engagement & Relationship
- Manage media relations and develop contacts with key media and influencers to grow the Share of Voice for JKLU in the higher education space.
Drive the Execution of a Multi-Channel Branding & Content Marketing Strategy
- The role holder would have a responsibility to effectively execute branding activities as per agreed plans. This would range from Press Releases, Events, Conferences, articles, blogs, podcasts and press interviews across traditional and new-age digital and social platforms.
Vendor Management
- Will have to work with nationally reputed Media and Public Relation agencies to execute its branding and marketing plans. The role holder is expected to lead and manage these strategic vendors so that they deliver as per requirements and within budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA from a premier institute with specialization in PR/Marketing/Mass-Communications/ or a Post Graduate in Mass Communications field.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 8-10 years of experience with exposure to PR and communications role for a reputed brand. Experience with education and universities will be an advantage.
