The AWS Engineer is responsible for end-to-end deployment, configuration, and reliability of AWS-based product demo environments, integrating Gen AI pipelines and engineering practices. The role demands deep cloud infrastructure skills (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3), automation (Terraform). This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. - Architect, provision, and maintain AWS demo environments leveraging services such as EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and AWS Glue.
- Build and maintain Terraform modules to automate environment provisioning, resets, and decommissioning.
- Integrate AWS GenAI solutions (Bedrock, SageMaker) for scenario automation, and real-time demo enrichment.
- Collaborate with Demo COE and Product SMEs to evaluate scenarios and implement custom flows.
- Implement RBAC, feature flag toggling, and configuration management via AWS Systems Manager and AppConfig.
Ensure environmental health with automated monitoring, alerting, and load testing (CloudWatch)

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
· Diagnose issues such as pod evictions, image pull errors, registry access, DNS and networking faults, and persistent storage challenges.
Release Support & Deployment Patterns
· Design and implement blue/green, canary, and rolling deployments for risk-managed releases.
· Utilize feature flags and ensure rollback strategies for business continuity.
Security & Compliance
· Establish namespaces, RBAC, network policies, and manage secrets to enforce robust security practices and regulatory compliance.
Secrets & Configuration Management
· Administer Vault, KMS, and ConfigMaps for secrets and app configuration. Handle leases, renewals, encryption, and rotation.

API & Messaging Operations
· Operate API Gateways (NGINX), Kafka, MQ—configure routing, rate limiting, back-pressure, consumer lag, and DLQ management.
· Troubleshoot schemas, contracts, timeouts, retries, and ensure idempotent processing.
· Manage backward-compatible deployments, versioning, and traffic shaping.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 4+ years with AWS.
· Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, pipelines, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
· Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
