As the Social Media Manager for NxtWave, you will be the voice of our brand across all major social platforms. We are looking for a creative and strategic individual to manage our social media presence, engage our vibrant community, and drive brand awareness and growth in the competitive edtech landscape. You will be responsible for bringing our brand story to life, connecting with our audience of aspiring tech professionals, and turning followers into brand advocates.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with NxtWave’s brand identity and business goals.
- Content Management: Plan, create, and schedule a consistent stream of high-quality, engaging content across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Campaign Execution: Ideate and execute creative social media campaigns to support product launches, enrollment drives, and brand-building initiatives.
- Community Engagement: Actively monitor and engage with our community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and on-brand manner. Foster a positive and supportive online environment for our learners.
- Performance Reporting: Track key social media metrics and KPIs, delivering regular reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, and admissions teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and integrated marketing efforts.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform features, and best practices within the edtech industry.
Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably within an edtech, B2C, or consumer brand .
- You are a master of social media platforms and understand the nuances of creating compelling content for each one.
- You possess excellent copywriting, communication, and creative thinking skills .
- You are experienced in managing content calendars and using social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
- You are comfortable with social media analytics and can translate data into actionable insights.
