The Quality Controller is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring that all products, processes, and services meet established quality standards and customer expectations. This role involves conducting regular checks, identifying defects or non-conformities, and working closely with the production team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor production processes to identify deviations and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to address quality issues.
• Reject or approve raw materials and finished goods based on quality parameters.
• Support root cause analysis and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Assist in developing and improving quality control policies, manuals, and inspection checklists.
• Perform random audits and ensure proper documentation of quality procedures.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality assurance standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, GMP).
• Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring instruments, and testing procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss reports, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings (GST, TDS), and regulatory standards.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and reporting.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control

• Drive the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting in collaboration with department heads.
• Monitor actuals against budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Establish and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure data integrity and protect company assets.
• Coordinate audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards and governance requirements.
• Oversee compliance with applicable tax laws and statutory regulations.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financing needs.

• Experience handling audits, taxation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
