This is an individual contributor role focused on driving data quality, governance, and advanced analytics across a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise across modern data stacks, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing enterprisegrade data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, maintain data pipelines, data transformation ETL using AWS Glue, AWS EMR, AWS Kinesis, AWS Redshift, Amazon Athena, App Flow platform and services. Language expertise in Python, Spark, and Scala.
• Implement and manage MDM (Master Data Management) strategies to ensure consistent and accurate data across systems.
• Perform data modeling, transformation, and analysis on Snowflake EDW platform on AWS & Azure cloud.
• Define and enforce data governance, data lineage policies, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the organization.
• Conduct data quality (DQ) checks and root cause analysis for data-related issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions and meaningful insights.
• Optimize data architecture and analytics frameworks for performance and scalability in cloud environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 7 to 8 years of experience in Data Analytics with a strong focus on cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with MDM, Redshift, EMR Cluster, Snowflake, AWS Kinesis, Spark, and Scala. • Deep understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality principles.
• Proficient in handling large volumes of data and building reliable data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience working in an individual contributor role with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: • AWS DA Professional certification(s) / SnowPro
• Exposure to enterprise-grade data strategy projects.
• Familiarity with data catalog tools and metadata management.
