Job Description
Ready to Change How India Thinks About Digital Safety?
Sales Lead – Education Outreach & Partnerships
We’re Cyberlite – we work in cyber safety and AI education across Asia-Pacific. We’ve already reached 16 countries, won awards, and built a curriculum that actually works. Now we need someone who knows the Indian education world inside out — someone who can open doors, build trust with schools and boards, and help us take our mission to every corner of India.
This isn’t your typical sales role. You won’t just be chasing quotas. You’ll be the person shaping our India growth strategy, working directly with our co-founders, and building partnerships that make digital safety a real priority in schools.
You’ll be a full-time sales hire in India – which means you get to:
- Lead our school sales and outreach efforts in one of the largest education markets in the world
- Build our network across CBSE, ICSE, state boards, private chains, and NGOs
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle: from identifying opportunities, to closing deals, to supporting long-term adoption
- Work directly with founders to design sales strategies that actually work for India
- Grow something meaningful that protects kids and empowers educators
Sales & Outreach That Matters
- Drive school and institutional adoption of Cyberlite’s programs across India
- Map and engage decision-makers: principals, school management committees, education boards, NGOs, and CSR heads
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities across regions and school systems
- Develop and execute strategies to win both large private school chains and government partnerships
- Represent Cyberlite in India’s education ecosystem and EdTech networks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders and board officials
- Represent us at education fairs, EdTech conferences, and policy roundtables
- Co-create India’s sales strategy with the founders — from pricing models to regional rollouts
- Provide insights into the Indian market to inform product and campaign decisions
- Track and report sales performance, ensuring continuous improvement and learning
- Experiment with creative approaches (CSR-driven partnerships, cluster sales, consortiums, etc.)
Have the Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships in EdTech, education services, or social impact
- Strong understanding of India’s education ecosystem (CBSE, ICSE, state boards, private school chains, NGOs)
- Proven track record of closing deals and managing institutional accounts in education
- You see opportunities and think creatively about how to convert them
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build something new from scratch
- You’re resourceful, resilient, and great at navigating complex stakeholder landscapes
- Proactive, self-directed, and independent — you don’t wait for instructions
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and moving between sales strategy and field execution
- Excited about scaling what works quickly and learning from what doesn’t
- Passionate about education, child safety, or social impact
- Believe that sales in education should be about building trust, not just transactions
- Want to be part of something bigger than a job — a mission
- Real Impact: Your work will directly put cyber safety and AI literacy in schools across India
- Creative Freedom: You won’t be stuck in rigid sales scripts — you’ll innovate on outreach approaches
- Growth Opportunity: Join us early and help shape not just sales, but our entire India operation
- Global Network: Collaborate with partners across 16 countries and learn from global education systems
- Mission Alignment: Wake up every day knowing you’re helping make the digital world safer for kids
We’re a lean, creative team working across Singapore and India. We value trust over hierarchy, results over process, and meaningful work over everything else.
This is a remote-first role with opportunities to travel for school visits, events, and partnerships. You’ll have the space to take initiative, the backing of experienced co-founders, and the chance to build something that matters.
Here’s what we want to see:
- Examples of schools, chains, or partnerships you’ve helped bring on board
- Your ideas for how Cyberlite could reach schools and boards at scale in India
- What excites you most about joining a mission-driven startup at this stage
Cyberlite is building safer, more inclusive digital spaces for children across Asia-Pacific through award-winning curriculum, training programs, and advocacy. Join us in putting cyber safety on every school’s agenda.
Would you like me to also draft a more standard “India job board” version (with things like CTC, location, qualifications in bullets, etc.) alongside this mission-driven, startup-style description ? That way you’d have both for different contexts.
