Position Summary:
Engineer- Natural / Adabas
Responsibilities:
Analyze Requirements:
- Analyze user needs based on a specification document, or functional specifications provided by the functional / technical-functional analyst.
- Study the program's functional steps and determine the appropriate technical solution.
Draft Technical Specifications:
- Describe the solution to be implemented.
- Estimate the total workload of a task (development/testing/deployment/documentation, etc.).
Implement the Solution:
- Develop all or part of the program using the available platforms and tools, following established standards.
- Perform unit and integration tests to detect and correct anomalies.
- Create prototypes to validate potential options.
- Document the implemented solution using appropriate means (knowledge base, source code documentation, support documents, etc.).
- Communication and Support
- Report progress and encountered difficulties to technical architects, technical-functional analysts, and project managers (all project stakeholders).
- Provide internal technical support within the department on request.
- Assist user support teams with solution maintenance.
- During projects, participate in design workshops by contributing technical expertise to the project team.
Internal & External Work Relationships:
- With business stakeholders (key users, project managers, department heads, etc.), depending on the project and its strategic importance, to gather and provide information.
- With Architects / Analysts, to receive specifications and collaborate on solution selection.
- With Project Managers, to communicate progress and report on project development.
- With External Providers (contractors, subcontractors), to cooperate daily on development activities.
- With the Helpdesk Function, for solution maintenance (incoming/outgoing support).
- Responsible for delivering the solution within agreed commitments (estimates, deadlines).
- Ensure the quality of the implemented solution (alignment with business needs, compliance with standards, proper documentation).
Required Skills:
- 2-4 yrs experience in Natural and Adabas
- Proactive, innovative, logical, curious, and bold
- Willing to understand, challenge and support our business needs
- Logical Thinking and Attention to Detail
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and business applications
- Processes and IT Systems “minded”
- Documentation and Knowledge Base Maintenance
- Be structured and organized (including time management)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work under stress with several challenges in parallel

Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to support our deployed systems at client sites in the Delhi NCR region. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with both hardware and software, ensuring peak performance, preventive maintenance, and timely troubleshooting of our AI-powered computer vision solutions. This is a high-impact, on-ground role that directly influences customer satisfaction and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Monitoring and Diagnostics
- Conduct real-time system monitoring to detect and resolve anomalies.
- Perform periodic hardware and software health checks.
- Analyze system logs to identify data processing or image recognition errors.
2. Software & Algorithm Updates
- Apply regular firmware and software updates across cameras, edge devices, and servers.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deploy and validate algorithm optimizations.
3. Data Management & Storage
- Backup critical datasets and configurations.
- Monitor and manage data storage capacity and integrity.
- Archive historical data and ensure ongoing data reliability.
4. Hardware Maintenance
- Calibrate cameras and inspect physical devices regularly.
- Perform preventive tasks (lens cleaning, cable replacements, hardware checks).
- Coordinate onsite repair or escalation for hardware replacements as needed.
5. System Optimization
- Fine-tune algorithm parameters based on site conditions and feedback.
- Analyze resource usage (CPU, GPU, memory) for performance efficiency.
- Reduce latency in system operations for real-time processing.
6. Customer Support & Training
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to client users and operators.
- Conduct training sessions for customer teams on system usage and updates.
- Establish a feedback mechanism to improve system performance and usability.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain structured maintenance logs and system change records.
- Create detailed performance and uptime reports for internal and client use.
- Ensure documentation is updated for all configurations and interventions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
- OS: Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
- Networking: Ability to troubleshoot IP-based connections and device communications.
- Hardware: Experience handling cameras, servers, edge devices, and physical maintenance tasks.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting.
