Job Overview

GRIM-TECH PROJECTS (I) PVT LTD is seeking a dedicated QA QC Civil Engineer to join our team in Mumbai, Surat, Farakka, or Bharuch. This full-time, mid-level position requires 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects, with an emphasis on utilizing advanced software and testing methods.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as a QA QC Civil Engineer in the construction industry, with a minimum of 4 years experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Mandatory skill) for creating precise architectural designs and assessing structural plans.
• Experience with Quality Assurance Testing (Mandatory skill) to guarantee construction projects meet predefined quality standards.
• Competency in Project Management Software (Mandatory skill) is required to efficiently manage and track project timelines and resources.
• Comprehensive understanding of Revit for enhanced design, analysis, and visualization in architecture and engineering.
• Knowledge in Construction Materials Testing to ensure material compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards to maintain and improve quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Expertise in Non-Destructive Testing for evaluating material and structural integrity without causing damage.
• Understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling) to improve accuracy in project planning and execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to verify the quality and safety of construction projects, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement QA QC policies and standards to enhance construction project outcomes.
• Collaborate with construction managers to resolve quality issues and optimize project performance.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and present findings to senior management.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to support the project team in planning and executing construction activities.
• Perform on-site and laboratory testing of construction materials to assure compliance with project requirements.
• Implement Non-Destructive Testing methods to assess structural components during and after construction.
• Maintain adherence to ISO 9001 Standards through routine audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

An Engineering Aide provides technical and administrative support to engineers, performing duties likedata collection, technical documentation, routine drafting, and assisting with field inspections and equipment maintenance. They help with project schedules, budgets, and contracts, operating CAD software and ensuring compliance with project specifications and codes.

Technical Duties
Drafting and Design:
Perform routine drafting, sketching, and lettering, and assist in preparing plans, designs, and specifications using CAD software.

Data Collection Analysis:
Collect, organize, and analyze engineering data, and prepare reports and presentations based on this data.

Field Support:
Assist in inspecting construction projects by observing work quality, checking for compliance with specifications and building codes, and providing technical assistance to contractors.

Equipment Maintenance:
Operate, maintain, and repair laboratory and other engineering equipment.

Administrative Logistical Support
Project Management:
Help establish and monitor project schedules and budgets, and assist with the administration of construction and consulting contracts.

Record Keeping:
Maintain and organize engineering documents and records.

Technical Support:
Provide technical support to other departments or team members.

Required Skills
Technical Proficiency:
Use of CAD software and understanding of basic engineering principles, including mathematics.

Communication:
Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, other departments, and the public.

Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to organize documents, data, and project-related information.

Adaptability:
Be willing to learn and perform a variety of technical and administrative duties as assigned by the engineering team.
