Job Purpose
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by
managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role
ensures effective financial management to support the company’s growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
∙ Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
∙ Analyze financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
∙ Support management in strategic decision-making through financial insights.
2. Accounting & Reporting
∙ Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
∙ Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
∙ Ensure timely closing of books of accounts.
3. Compliance & Audit
∙ Ensure statutory compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, ESIC, and other applicable laws.
∙ Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
∙ Maintain proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
∙ Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
∙ Manage banking relationships, fund flow, and credit facilities.
∙ Optimize investment and financing strategies.
5. Cost Control & Process Improvement
∙ Implement cost monitoring and control systems.
∙ Identify areas for financial efficiency and automation.
∙ Strengthen internal financial controls and risk management.
6. Team Management
∙ Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
∙ Ensure timely deliverables and professional development of team members.
Key Skills & Competencies
∙ Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
∙ Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∙ Proficiency in ERP/Accounting software (SAP/Tally/Oracle).
∙ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
