As Regional Head - Design, you will lead a team of 6 to 8 highly motivated General Managers (Design) & Territory Managers (Design) with an indirect reporting of around 200-250 people under their respective cohorts. You will be responsible for overall revenue and growth in the region by building High performing Teams for a predictable and sustainable business and Managing the complete P&L and carry out AOP plan for the region.
- Own project deliveries with the Design Closure of Livspace Catalogue products (Kitchen, Wardrobe, Storages, Furniture & Decor) and essential home improvement services across a region.
- Own Customer experience by driving predictability & efficiency of the team's project delivery capability with a razor sharp focus on quality.
- Lead, motivate, train and manage Managers, Designers, Livspace Partners on a day to day basis. Drive Initiatives for Revenue Growth, Team Performance, People Growth.
- Build/Design new processes and re-engineer existing ones at city/central level to improve productivity and ensure all our processes mature to handle exponential growth and complexities.
- Build governance mechanisms (implementing, monitoring & maintaining standards) to ensure process compliance at city level, establish processes that facilitates continuous improvement across all verticals.
- Establish and continually improve the consistency, predictability and efficiency of the team's project delivery capability by providing leadership in best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Last Mile Operations & Central) to ensure the Complete Project Deliveries.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Skills/ Qualifications - Graduate | MBA IITs / Tier 1 B Schools | Operations/ Operational Research.
- 8 to 10 years overall experience with 3+ years experience as City /Regional /Central head positions with MNCs or unicorn startups.
- Preferred experience in Interiors Industry/ Project Managementt Consulting/ Operations /E-Commerce domain.
- Strong Leadership & People management skills (Direct Team reporting in past roles a must).

- Drive design quality, craft, and practice, continuously enhancing overall competency of the team. Drive the team to create award-winning work, and setup the India studios as true peers in quality of outcomes to all other WongDoody studios globally.
- Evolve our service offering and value propositions to our clients – developing new models for how we design closer with clients and technology teams in truly agile engagements across locations – ensuring our propositions are aligned with key market trends.
- Provide strategic design thought leadership to the whole organisation, publish and speak at internal and external events to further build WongDoody’s reputation internally and externally in the market, particularly in India. Strong strategic thought, as well as an engaging presentation style are key.
- In new business, guide and direct the strategy, approach, and concept creation for proposals. Define the storyline for pitches and presentations and deliver engaging and inspiring presentations to clients to drive higher-value design outcomes over volume outputs. Drive follow-through to insure conversion of design scope.
- Facilitate design-focused sessions and engaging workshops with C-suite and C-suite minus 1 client from the world’s largest organisations across all industries. A solid understanding and quick learning of industry specifics and business models is vital.
- Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients, both onsite (we have very frequent visits from client delegations) and remotely. Uncover new opportunities to apply strategic thinking and creative craft to solve challenges for them leveraging scale and quality of India studios for best outcomes.
- Assess performance and provide career mentorship and performance decisions for senior members of the design team.
- Help attract the best new hires to the studios, building WongDoody brand in India and insuring hiring standards and processes are maintained for highest quality of outcomes.

Drive Design Innovation
- Champion a culture of out-of-the-box thinking — constantly pushing creative boundaries while remaining rooted in brand purpose
- Experiment with generative design tools and AI-assisted workflows to enhance creativity and accelerate output
- Lead design sprints, workshops, and storyboarding sessions to unlock new creative possibilities
- Simplify complex offerings (AI, engineering services, talent models) into intuitive and accessible design formats
Own Brand Aesthetics & Experience
- Define and scale a cohesive design system for marketing — ensuring brand consistency, design integrity, and visual distinction across formats
- Lead thought leadership design: whitepapers, keynote decks, frameworks, and visual storytelling formats that elevate Ascendion’s market voice
- Design for high-impact moments — event branding, booths, experiences, social media motion graphics, and enterprise campaigns
Operate at the Intersection of Tech + Design
- Bring deep familiarity with both AI and traditional design tools — from Figma and Adobe Suite to emerging AI-based design platforms
- Stay ahead of design trends in the B2B tech ecosystem — especially in experience engineering, digital transformation, and AI
- Translate tech narratives (e.g. GenAI, engineering platforms, GCCs) into design systems that are smart, engaging, and action-oriented
Lead, Mentor & Collaborate
- Build and coach a high-performing team of designers and visual creatives
- Provide hands-on design leadership on key initiatives and enterprise pursuits
