About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Network Security Specialist with deep expertise in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Layer 3 network security.
Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and manage WAF platforms such as F5, AWS WAF, Cloudflare, and Imperva.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain WAF systems in production environments.
- Independently handle ticketing tools like Symphony, CDC, and Google SOAR.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly health checks of WAFs and other network security devices.
- Communicate with OEMs, vendors, partners, end users, and clients regarding WAF-related issues.
- Update and manage tickets for incidents and service requests related to WAFs.
- Analyse WAF-related tickets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimising WAF solutions.

Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Network Security Engineer, you are expected to work on Networking products or solutions based on any vendor hardware /vendor operating system software (i.e Vendor agnostic) with little or minimum support including skills like Routers/Switches/ Load balancer.

Your role would also involve deploying, managing and implementing networking solutions to address client business requirements. You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.Responsibilities:
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client IT security related issues (Cisco FTD/Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Fortinet/Azure firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, proxy, Bluecoat/Forcepoint/Zscalar Web filtering).
- Mentor Tier 1 staff on event handling & response
- Manage day to day firewall operations, implementing firewall rule requests, configuration changes. Continually improve upon skills and ability to learn new technologies
- Incorporate and follow all change management processes and procedures as outlined by the customer. Participate in security and vulnerability risk assessments of the enterprise firewall environment.
- Contribute to L2/L3 SOPs/Runbook/KEDB in keeping process & documentation up to date.

- Min 7-8 years of industry experience as a Network Security engineering on Design, Implementation and troubleshooting Firewall, load balancers, WAF
- Hands-on Experience handling at least 3 Firewall products (PaloAlto, FortiGate, Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Sonicwall etc.) and
- Hands on experience with Proxy solutions(Forcepoint, Zscaler etc), IDS/IPS, WAF
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client IT security related issues (Cisco FTD/Palo Alto/ firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, proxy, Bluecoat/Forcepoint/Zscalar Web filtering).
- Experience on firewall rules and data flow traffic in firewalls.
- Experience in performing /documenting RCA for major security incidents related to network security products Must have experience interacting with OEMs to fix product/technology related issue
- Experience on clustering and high availability.
- Experience in configuration and implementation of VPN across various vendor perimeter devices.
- Experience in routing technologies.
- Skilled in analysing and monitoring network security solutions.
- Should possess core understanding of web filtering gateways like BlueCoat, Zscaler or PaloAlto.
