Customer / Engagement Management

  • Own and drive customer satisfaction, service quality and governance for multiple AMS accounts.
  • Develop and manage client relationships at multiple organizational levels like business users, IT management, Clevel, and Vendor partner.
  • Drive adherence to both Cognitus and client Contracts, MSA’s, policies and procedures. Understand managed services contract with respect to scope, people and quality, and budget expectations.
  • Conduct resource scheduling and coordination through the staffing process and align delivery mix per Contract.
  • Manage Ticket systems, route and assign resources and conduct Operational meetings with the customer.
  • Deliver customer reporting and Governance cadences (Invoices, billing, SLAs, and KPIs) and resolve any gaps.
  • Lead Monthly service reviews on account, financials, engagement, and resource status.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct account planning and development, Roadmaps, Quarterly Business Reviews, and scorecards with Sales and Industry solution team. Provide internal KPI’s on Account and Contract Retention (ARR renewals) and Expansion.

  • Experience as an SAP Functional, Technical Consultant or Project manager is preferred.

About the Role:


We are looking for an experienced and dynamic AMS Manager (HCM) to lead and manage the

Application Management Services (AMS) team. The successful candidate will be

responsible for ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of application

services for the clients. The AMS Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality

support, enhancements, and optimization capabilities, ensuring applications meet

business needs and performance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of AMS consultants to deliver AMS services across

various enterprise clients.

- Conduct daily scrum meetings and oversee the day-to-day operations of AMS,

ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)

are consistently met.

- Plan Onboarding of Client along with preparation and continuous enhancement

of AMS account plan.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all AMS-related enhancements and

issues, both internally and with clients.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, reduce

incidents, and improve system stability and performance.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders CXO

level, Product team, Integration team and Amplify team, to ensure alignment

with business goals.

- Manage application lifecycle activities, including monitoring, updates, upgrades,

patches, and troubleshooting.

- Ensure process adherence and compliance of Release Management process.

- Prepare and present regular reports on AMS performance, trends, and

opportunities for improvement.

- Responsible for developing teams’ growth plan and capability improvement

plan.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the AMS

team.

Key Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in HR tech implementation, HR consulting, or HR roles .

- Undergraduate degree is mandatory. An MBA/master’s degree is preferred.

- Experience of managing teams is a must. History of dealing with senior

stakeholders like CXOs will be an added advantage.

- Understanding HR or educational background in the same will be an added

advantage.

- Productivity tools like MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Ability to work with complex

datasets, validate data, and use tools like MS Excel and Project management

tools.

- Familiarity with service management tools (e.G. JIRA, Happy Fox) and monitoring

systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end pre-sales lifecycle for large Managed Services RFPs (typically $1M–$5M+).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Practice, and Leadership teams to shape winning responses.
  • Own solution architecture, pricing models, delivery constructs (onshore/offshore), and transition approaches.
  • Leverage experience in managing 100+ member delivery teams to provide credible delivery assurance during pursuit.
  • Conduct due diligence workshops, define operating models, and create transformation roadmaps for prospects.
  • Articulate Jade’s differentiated value proposition, including AI-led automation, intelligent ticket routing, observability, and AIOps in managed services.
  • Present to C-level executives and participate in orals and client walkthroughs.
  • Track market trends and incorporate innovations and best practices in solution designs.


Required Experience & Skills

  • 18+ years of IT services experience, with strong emphasis on application and infrastructure managed services.
  • Proven experience managing large delivery programs (100+ FTEs).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or deal strategy roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and win $10M pursuits in a competitive RFP environment.
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL frameworks, SLA/SLO metrics, service transition, and operating models.
  • Strong grasp of modern managed services: automation, AIOps, self-heal platforms, service integration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise technologies (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with North American/European enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with industry benchmarks, pricing models, and contracting structures for AMS.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled support frameworks, digital twins for IT Ops, and service modernization.
  • Bachelor's/Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • ITIL, PMP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
