Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) & Telephony Support Engineer
to provide enterprise-level support for conferencing environments. The role involves troubleshooting and managing MTR devices (Logitech, Poly, Yealink, Audiocodes), administering Teams Telephony (users, call queues, auto-attendants, voicemails), and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple locations. You will leverage
Teams Admin Center (TAC)
and
Microsoft Intune
for policy enforcement, compliance, and device monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Provide
L2/L3 support
for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Panels, and Telephony systems. - Administer and troubleshoot Teams Telephony (users, call queues, auto-attendants, voicemails).
- Diagnose and resolve audio/video, connectivity, and firmware issues.
- Manage and support
Logitech video conferencing devices
(Rally Bar, Tap, Meetup, Sync). - Configure and troubleshoot HDMI, USB, SIP/H.323, VoIP, and network setups.
- Support Intune device enrollment, compliance, and app deployment.
- Ensure QoS, firewall, and proxy configurations for call quality.
- Manage firmware/software updates for MTR and phone devices.
- Perform regular
audits, compliance checks, and proactive maintenance
. - Document troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and best practices.
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years
of experience in IT support, AV conferencing, or MTR/Intune management. - Certifications such as
Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Logitech Collaboration Specialist
are a plus.

Functional:
- Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) administration & troubleshooting.
- Teams Telephony (Auto Attendant, Call Queue, Voicemail).
- Microsoft Intune for MTR device management.
- Teams Admin Center (TAC), Microsoft 365 Admin Console.
- Knowledge of Azure AD, Conditional Access, Zero Trust security.
- Networking (LAN, VLAN, QoS, Firewalls, VPN, SIP/H.323).
- Audio-Visual systems & peripherals integration.

Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud-based messaging systems, including Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and MS Teams.
Manage and maintain a complex Office 365 tenant, including core services like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business.
Deep understanding of Office 365 architecture, services, and administration tools. Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex Office 365 issues.
Lead and participate in Office 365 projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new service implementations. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
Manage and configure Intune policies for mobile devices to ensure secure access to email and other corporate data. Troubleshoot Microsoft Intune-related issues affecting email access on mobile devices.
Configure and maintain the Cisco Email Security Gateway to protect against spam, malware, and other email-borne threats.
Monitor gateway performance and analyze logs to identify and mitigate security risks.
Manage and maintain the Veritas Email Archive system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Configure archiving policies, perform data restorations, and troubleshoot archiving issues.
Advanced Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve complex messaging problems, including mail flow issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for messaging services.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect messaging data.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security standards.
Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work effectively with other IT team members to support overall infrastructure and applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Must have :-
SME Microsoft Exchange and office 365
Knowledge on Intune and MaaS360
Knowledge on MS Teams, OneDrive
Email gateway
Good to have :-
Knowledge on Veritas Email archive system
Knowledge on office365 Tenant migration.
Manage and maintain on-premises Microsoft Exchange environments.
Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Exchange servers and related components and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
