Business Development - Acquisition of new business and Relationship Management
• Achieving Revenue targets and Profitability as per the business plan
• Developing a business plan including Revenues target, product mix, and margin objectives.
• Need to have relationships across Banks/Corporates/Merchant Bankers in the respective
region with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Meeting & arranging events for Knowledge Sharing with Corporate Clients, Banks &
Financial Institutions, and Merchant Bankers.
• Continuously keeping oneself and team members updated on industry happenings and
product developments.
• Increasing the market share and visibility in the respective region for CareEdge.
• Industry and Competition Analysis with proper MIS handling and tracking.

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand market reach from their office in Kolkata, West Bengal, IN . This hybrid role combines strategic in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sales cycles, market analysis, and strategic partnership building. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic sales plans, and nurturing key client relationships. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of closing deals and achieving ambitious sales targets. Key responsibilities include lead generation, market research, competitor analysis, and developing compelling sales proposals. You will work closely with marketing and product development teams to align strategies and ensure market needs are met. We are seeking a candidate with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and market dynamics.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management.
