We are on the lookout for a dynamic Trainer to deliver and enhance our bespoke Leadership Development Programme for our Officers and Ratings. This is your chance to make a real impact at sea and ashore.
 
The role:
- Deliver engaging, high impact leadership training across a range of maritime ranks and backgrounds.
 - Adapt sessions to suit different learning styles and experience levels - no two groups are the same!
 - Apply and integrate various leadership theories to real-world maritime challenges.
 - Use your insights to analyse leadership shortfalls, using case studies from regulated industries.
 - Keep our head office informed with concise updates and performance reporting.
 - Manage session delivery within budget, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
 
 
About you:
- Proven facilitation and adult learning experience.
 - A solid understanding of leadership theory - and the confidence to apply it creatively.
 - Strong communication, presentation and administrative skills.
 - Maritime experience (such as time spent as a Merchant Navy or military officer, or teaching in maritime education) is a strong advantage.
 - Willingness to spend time onboard one of our vessels to understand our unique onboard culture.
 
 
Location and Travel:
- You will be based in Mumbai but you will be required to travel frequently across India and occasionally worldwide.

Position
The Pre-MBA Associate program at Axience is a 3-year, fast-track rotation for high-potential early-career talent. You’ll gain multi-function exposure across the firm and either leave for (a) an international, top-tier MBA with Axience’s endorsement/support, or graduate into (b) the Axience Future Leadership Program.
- Duration: 36 months (performance gates at months 6/12/18/24/30/36)
 - Rotations/ Roles: Formal or informal rotation in multiple business units as described below

Our functions: pre-MBA associate gets exposure to minimum two functions
Central and Business Development:
 
Axience Central and Business Development team directly reports into Senior Management and work on various activities related to strategy and growth, process improvement, pre-sales, business development and innovation
 
The team supports leadership in research support for exploring new business growth areas, RFP and proposals and also acts as a core member of pilot teams
 
Financial Research:
 
Axience supports investors in private and public markets across their functions and lifecycle from investor relation and capital formation to investment and portfolio management and finance and accounting. Private markets clients include institutional investors, private markets funds, asset and wealth managers as well as alternative credit investors.
We also support investment banks and advisors across M&A, ECM, DCM and Sales/Trading and Research and provide client centricity and competition benchmarking services.
 
Research and Consulting:
 
Axience partners with large and mid-size corporates across industries and geographies. We work directly with CXO offices and Chiefs of Staff, Corporate Development & Strategy, Commercial / Sales / Marketing functions.
 
Our teams work on strategic and tactical business / market / competitive insights and intelligence, sector, economics, innovation and regulatory research, analysis and other support. We offer our services through mix of ongoing analyst support and custom engagements.
 
Business Management:
 
Centralized teams to enable our delivery and strategy function including business and executive assistants, HR, branding and marketing and other central functions
 
Background Requirement
· Proven aptitude through standardized tests such as GMAT, GRE and others
· Top tier education and performance
· Highly entrepreneurial, no-nonsense, non-bureaucratic, and inquisitive mindset
· 1–3+ years in a rigorous setting (consulting/research/analytics/investing banks) or standout internships.
· Sharp structuring, analysis, and business writing/storytelling.
· High ownership, bias to action, and the ability to inspire others.
· Excellent stakeholder management and follow-through under pressure
