CFA Institute is seeking a visionary and strategic Marketing Director to spearhead the creation of a Marketing Innovation Hub in India. This is a high-exposure role with the opportunity to shape the future of marketing operations across the organization while driving brand growth and engagement in one of our most dynamic markets.
As Marketing Director, you will lead a motivated and creative team of eight, including specialists in marketing operations, CRM, event technology, and Salesforce administration. You’ll manage both local and global marketing activation efforts, ensuring strategic alignment across diverse teams and functions. Your leadership will empower two senior managers and enhance collaboration across teams. This role is ideal for someone with deep marketing experience in India and a passion for mentoring talent and driving innovation.
This role will be based in Mumbai and will have matrixed reporting to the Global Senior Head, Brand, Demand & Digital and the Senior Country Head, India.
What You’ll Do:
Build and lead a marketing innovation hub that pilots new strategies and technologies both regionally and globally
Oversee global marketing operations, including CRM, marketing automation, and event technology
Manage and inspire a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and strategic growth
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders to align marketing with business goals
Optimize marketing performance through data-driven insights and budget stewardship
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
Proven success in marketing activation, team management, and global client engagement
Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing technology platforms
Strategic thinker with strong communication and project management skills
Experience in agency environments or managing global marketing projects
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and data-driven Director of Marketing to helm our global marketing strategy and execution. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
Oversee brand, product marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, content, PR, and events, ensuring a cohesive and innovative approach.
Team Management & Development:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
Establish KPIs, measure performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
Brand & Positioning:
Refine DoubleTick.io’s market positioning, messaging, and brand identity to differentiate the company in a dynamic, competitive landscape.
Champion brand consistency and storytelling excellence across all customer touchpoints.
Demand Generation & Growth:
Drive pipeline development through integrated marketing campaigns—content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, webinars, and partnerships.
Optimize marketing spend for maximum ROI and measurable revenue impact.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market (GTM):
Collaborate closely with Product and Sales teams to create compelling product narratives, pricing strategies, and GTM plans.
Orchestrate product launches, ensuring market readiness and strong audience resonance.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Establish and maintain robust analytics frameworks to track key marketing metrics.
Regularly analyze data to inform strategic decisions and refine marketing tactics, focusing on improving conversion, engagement, and retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with executive leadership to provide strategic insights, forecasts, and updates on marketing performance.
Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and support broader business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within a SaaS environment.
MBA from a top-tier business school; a BTech or engineering background is strongly preferred.
Proven track record of building and scaling marketing teams, implementing processes, and delivering measurable results.
Deep expertise in integrated marketing, brand strategy, digital marketing, and product marketing.
