About the Role
We are looking for a
Project Associate
to support our ongoing
medical device testing, research, and innovation projects
. This role is ideal for
graduates/postgraduates (BSc/MSc)
as well as
engineering students/fresher seeking an internship project or early career opportunity
in healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in
medical device testing and documentation - Prepare
PowerPoint presentations, reports, and research summaries - Conduct
web research
and generate insights using
AI tools - Draft
emails, reports, and official communication
with AI assistance - Take
quotations from vendors/companies
and maintain data records - Work with
MS Office, basic Python, and AI prompt engineering - Working on 3D CAD software and 3D Printing (Optional)
Eligibility
- BSc / MSc graduates
(or any relevant field) Or
Engineering students/fresher
looking for internship/project experience. - Strong computer knowledge:
MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word - Basic understanding of
Python & AI tools - Good communication & problem-solving skills
- Must be based in
Kanpur
Work Details
- Fulltime role
–Office work & field visits as required - 6 days/week | 7-8 hours/day
- Duration:
4 months (extendable based on performance)
Stipend / Salary
- Up to
₹20,000 per month
(based on skills & experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA) to join our healthcare team. The VMA will be responsible for handling patient communications, managing electronic health records (EHR), and providing administrative support to physicians and nurses. The role involves facilitating patient interactions related to appointment scheduling, medication follow-up, lab results, and authorizations for prescriptions and treatments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a good understanding of medical procedures, and experience in dealing with prior authorizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Communication:
- Handle patient phone calls related to appointment scheduling, medication follow-up, lab result inquiries, and other general queries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive experience during each interaction.
- EHR Management:
- Maintain and update patient records accurately and securely in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Ensure all patient data, including clinical notes, medication lists, and other relevant information, is current and complete.
- Prescription and Medication Management:
- Coordinate prescription refills with pharmacies, ensuring timely delivery of medications.
- Handle prior authorization requests for medications, treatments, and services with pharmacies and insurance providers, ensuring smooth processing of approvals.
- Authorization Support:
- Assist in obtaining prior authorizations for prescription medications and medical procedures from insurance providers.
- Follow up on authorization status and work closely with insurance companies to expedite approvals.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and pharmacies to ensure accurate submission of required documents for authorization.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with daily administrative tasks such as updating patient files, preparing for patient visits, Dealing with home health services and durable medical equipment services .
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Patient Education and Support:
- Provide patients with educational information regarding their conditions, prescriptions, and upcoming treatments, as instructed by healthcare providers.
- Support patients in navigating the healthcare system, such as explaining insurance coverage and assisting with paperwork when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or certification in medical assisting preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical administrative or assistant role, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, AthenaHealth, ECW ) and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
- Prior authorization experience is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in the use of office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with insurance providers or authorization delays.
- Other:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
