**What does a great "Network WAN Engineer" do in Fiserv?**
+ A Client WAN Engineer will be the interface to both the Fiserv Business Units and their customers to provide the best-in-class design and deployment for remote customer network connectivity enabling the consumption of all Fiserv services.
+ A Client WAN Engineer will work hand in hand within the team and with other Network Engineering teams, Network Operations and development teams to collaborate on automation ideas to help enhance network deployments both increasing productivity and delivering to market sooner which will result in greater revenue.
+ A Client WAN Engineer will be a key participant in leading technologies, innovation and building access to our enhanced network architecture. **What you will do:**
+ Monitor a vast hybrid infrastructure using Fiserv defined tools. Collaborate with cross-functional Tech teams to isolate, troubleshoot and fix the Network related issues.
+ You will work on different network, FW and LB platforms like Nexus, Arista, versa,F5,Palo etc.
+ Deep dive into complex ongoing issues and provide inputs to fast track the resolution.
+ Will jump on technical bridge calls and gather the information needed to investigate the high sev issues.
+ Participate in inter-departmental planning meetings on suggested solutions for existing issues as well as systemic and process improvements.
+ Work with different vendors- for circuit issues like AT&T,Lumen,Verizon,Park plaza,TATA,Airtel etc.
+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate Network issues in a timely manner.
+ Participate in automation initiatives to achieve operational maturity
+ Maintain and enhance current client environment configuration
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers.
+ Implement and maintain systems security measures
+ Assist customers both internal and external with connectivity problems as they relate to the network.
+ Use the principles of Incident Management, change management, problem management, monitoring, emergency response, capacity planning, and production readiness reviews to run the infrastructure
+ Participate in special project teams, representing network operations on new products designs and implementations. Develop network support structure and process for new BU implementations.
**What you will need to have:**
A successful Network WAN Engineer will possess the following key skills/behaviors:
+ The Client WAN Engineer is expected to possess in depth WAN Engineering skills to develop best practices, refine operational procedure and constantly think pro-actively incorporating automation to reduce manual tasks and increase productivity.
+ This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills and has significant experience in supporting large scale, enterprise class networks.
+ 12+ Years of related IT experience. (Experience will change from 12+, 14+ and 16+ basis on seniority)
+ Hands on experience in software development specifically in Python, GIT, Ansible and YAML
+ Hands on experience in Layer 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) route distribution, router filtering.
+ Hands on experience with various network solutions (SDWAN, MPLS, IPsec, S2S, DMVPN)
+ Hands on experience in Layer 2 protocols (HSRP, VRRP)
**What would be great to have:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and appropriate certificates.
+ The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.
+ Knowledge in the Linux/Unix environment.
+ Substantial background in large scale network implementations and support.
+ Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
+ Load balancers and Firewall knowledge a plus.

Role: Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with strong experience in LAN & WAN Security with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and DDI Infoblox’s. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting secure and efficient enterprise networks while ensuring compliance with security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- DDI Infoblox
Deploy, configure, and manage Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
Troubleshoot advanced DNS/DHCP/GRID issues and ensure service availability.
Implement security features (DNS Firewall, RPZ, Threat Protection).
Perform IPAM administration, capacity planning, and integration with network tools.
Handle L3 escalations, root cause analysis, and automation tasks.
Collaborate with network/security teams for DDI design and policy enforcement.
- Cisco ISE-NAC
Network Access Control (Cisco-ISE)
Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco ISE for NAC solutions.
Implement authentication/authorization policies (802.1x, MAB, posture).
Troubleshoot complex ISE, RADIUS, TACACS+ issues.
Integrate ISE with AD, PKI, Firewalls, WLC, and switches.
Support network access security, profiling, BYOD, guest access.
Handle escalations and perform root cause analysis.
- Security Compliance & Incident Response
Closure of vulnerability and security audits in sync with security Team.
Respond to and investigate network security incidents.
Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure network
solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating
procedures
Technical Expertise in:
- Cisco ISE: Policy configuration, profiling, BYOD, posture validation.
- Strong knowledge of NAC design, policies, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in AAA, 802.1x, certificates, TrustSec/SXP.
- Strong expertise in DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and GRID architecture.
- Knowledge of DNSSEC, IPv6, Anycast, and redundancy models.
- Minimum 10-15 years of enterprise network on 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security and managing team
Relevant certifications preferred:
Cisco: Infoblox NIOS certifications / CCNP / equivalent preferred
CCNP Security
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
