Job Description:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Write efficient SQL queries, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
• Work with data modeling teams to design and implement database objects.
• Support application development teams by creating backend logic, APIs, and integration processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize database code to resolve performance and functional issues.
• Collaborate with DBAs for database upgrades, migrations, and deployment.
• Prepare technical documentation for database design, code, and processes.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for development and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development (Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization.
• Experience with performance tuning tools (Explain Plan, Hints, Indexing strategies).
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and relational database design.
• Experience in Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data migration, and batch jobs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• 8 to 10 years technical experience in PL/SQL & SQL Performance Tuning to optimize database performance, troubleshoot slow queries, and enhance overall system efficiency.
• Very strong experience in the following SQL optimization tools:

Mandatory: SQL, PL/SQL, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, SQL optimization tools (AWR, Explain Plan, TKPROF, SQL Trace)

• Candidate should be expert in developing stored procedures and packages along with strong experience SQL and PL/SQL.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL tuning and Application tuning using various tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL*TRACE, TKPROF and AUTOTRACE.
• Ability to analyze execution plans and suggest performance improvements.
• Optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to minimize execution time and resource consumption.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, memory management, and caching techniques.
• Very strong knowledge/experience in debug/troubleshoot Performance issues and fine-tune stored procedures, functions, and ad-hoc SQL code to enhance query execution speed.
• Oracle eBusiness applications, experience in implementation and customization for the following modules in Oracle eBusiness Applications Suite: Oracle Purchasing, Sourcing, iProcurement, Inventory and Oracle Order Management.
• Proficient in analyzing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Very strong experience in the Oracle API and RICEW elements.
• Should have experience in Integration of EBS with other systems.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of concepts and theories in own discipline.
• Perceived internally and externally as technically knowledgeable in the specific modules assigned.
• Demonstrates ability to teach others the technical and functional knowledge and skills needed to achieve results at the optimum level of performance.
• Demonstrate ability to provide Technical solution to technical team after discussion with functional team
