Key Responsibilities:-
- Executing quality output as per the daily, weekly, and monthly plan, depending on the material, machines, and tools.
- Coordinated with the planning department for the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Coordinating with stores to maintain the receipts of storage and dispatches.
- Work closely with the material department to ensure timely availability of raw materials and maintain plant inventories at their optimal.
- Conducting meetings with subordinates to improve product quality and achieve maximum productivity.
- Maximizing line efficiency and minimizing downtime by putting in place strong systems for preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
- Finalizing the product mix in case any processing problems.
- Co-ordinated with QC/QA to take appropriate corrections and corrective and preventive actions on non-conforming products, manufacturing methods, and processes.
- Ensuring preventive maintenance as per the plan for Pressure equipment.
- Monitoring and reducing of wastes in packaging.
- Reporting to GM Manufacturing on daily report of scrap, re-work, consumption and action taken report for correction, corrective and preventive action.
- Responsible for handling on daily review meetings with the Quality and Tooling department.
- Ensuring quality in packaging with stage-wise monitoring of various quality parameters.
- Production data monitoring and analysis on a daily /monthly basis.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed in the plant.
- Maintaining discipline on the shop floor and providing on-the-job training to the subordinates
- Effect the shift change at regular intervals and counsel staff and workmen whenever required.
Requirements and Skills:-
- Looking for a stable candidate (Frequent Job Changes will not be considered)
- Looking for candidates from Baroda or nearby areas.
- Team Handling experience is a must (On Roll & Workmen Category).
- Exposure to Mass Production is compulsory.
- Working experience in a unionized factory is preferred.

To ensure quality of the product as per required specification.
To ensure generation of Quality Incidence Report for observed process deviations and work in team to resolve the same with QC, Process Engineer and Technical, if required.
To take active part and support for Quality Complaints resolution, doing RCFA and implement CA and PAs’.
Plan and arrange Raw Materials and Packaging Materials as per Production Plan, and responsible for shop floor RM/PM accounting and variance.
To implement ISO 9000 requirements on shop floor and ensure all record generation, maintenance and smooth retrieval.
Reporting of incident of any nature as per the site SHE procedures.
Co-ordinate with Maintenance team for improving the performance of the Plant.

Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and production tracking software is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
