- Inspect incoming material and verify it against MTCs (Mill Test Certificates) and purchase specifications.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspection of pipes, tubes, and fittings.
- Prepare QC reports and maintain inspection records systematically.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies, mills, and customers during dispatch and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ASME, ASTM, API, IS).
- Monitor storage and handling practices to prevent material damage.
- Assist in resolving customer quality complaints or technical issues.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Minimum **2-5 years of experience in the pipe or steel tube industry**.
- Past experience with or strong knowledge of processes at **JSL, MSL, ISMT, etc.** is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of **pipe grades, specifications, and NDT methods** (like UT, MPI, hydro).
- Familiarity with **quality standards and inspection protocols**.
- Proficient in documentation and using basic office software (**MS Excel, Word**).
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Understanding of inventory systems and stock handling.
- Language: English, Hindi, Marathi (Gujarati is a plus).
