This person will Supervise, plan, coordinate, mentor, and direct quality control inspectors of Machine Shop to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for Final Inspection.
Monitor NPD Parts & their standard requirements.
Responsible for product release according to product release procedure and verify document package according to client PO.
Responsible for TPI inspection witness at different stages according to client approved QAP & PO requirement.
Responsible for timely testing at Internal Lab.
Calibrate Instruments & co-ordinate with External agency.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Supervise and train quality control Engineers and Inspectors, ensuring they are knowledgeable about quality standards and procedures.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve team performance and ensure adherence to quality protocols.
Continuously monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process improvements and enhance product quality.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection results, non- conformances, and corrective actions.
Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance metrics to senior management.
Education and/or Experience: B.Tech / Diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and final quality.
Strong knowledge of API & QMS standards.
