What you’ll do in the role:

• Conduct comprehensive and accurate research to create deliverables to internal clients.
• Create company profiles, comparable and precedent transaction analyses, financial benchmarking, company and industry analysis reports, newsletters, earning summaries and providing research support.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

• Support the research analysts in the analysis of industry groups and individual companies in an assigned sector.
• Review and interpret balance sheets, cash flow statements, income statements, calculate financial ratios.
• Perform broad quantitative and qualitative analysis and research, using historical model building and developing projections.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheet models to provide relative value analysis and recommend investment opportunities.
• Support in the Report-writing including initiating coverage reports, company profiles, quarterly updates and sector reports; prepare other deliverables such as client presentations.
• Expected to write reports independently, to be eventually migrated to a writing analyst.

Responsibilities:

1. Performs extensive research and gathers relevant information on companies and individuals using public domain databases and other information retrieval resources.
2. Analyzes and evaluates the retrieved information with respect to relevant research guidelines and various regulatory norms that include compliance with Anti Money Laundering, FCPA, and OFAC sanctions.
3. Consolidates the retrieved findings and prepares comprehensive due diligence reports. Ensures the accuracy of assertions and citations documented in the report, and that the written report meets professional standards.
