About the Role
SecureLayer7 is looking for a Senior Sales Representative with 5+ years of strong end to end and outbound sales experience in VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing). This is an individual contributor (IC) role, but as a senior team member, you will also guide and support the broader sales team when required. We’re seeking a go-getter who thrives in fast-paced environments, meets aggressive sales targets, and is ready to travel extensively across India and abroad for client meetings. Responsibilities
- Drive full-cycle VAPT sales — from lead generation and prospecting to deal closure.
- Prospect and generate new leads through outbound channels, including cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline by identifying target accounts and key decision-makers.
- Research target organizations to tailor outreach with relevant cybersecurity use cases and pain points.
- Run personalized outbound sequences to create new opportunities and schedule discovery meetings.
- Collaborate with marketing to convert MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) into SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads) and optimize lead-generation campaigns.
- Maintain detailed records of outbound activity, engagement, and pipeline stages in the CRM system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, CISOs, and other key decision-makers.
- Meet and exceed high-value sales targets consistently.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure client requirements are accurately scoped and delivered.
- Guide and mentor junior sales team members when required.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and market intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity sales, specifically VAPT services.
- Demonstrated success in outbound B2B sales, preferably within the cybersecurity or SaaS domain.
- Proven ability to generate pipeline from scratch through cold outreach and multi-touch campaigns.
- Strong understanding of account-based selling (ABS) and consultative sales techniques.
- Experience using sales engagement and automation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, or similar.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as an IC while providing leadership support to peers.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India and abroad.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of cybersecurity domains such as IT Infrastructure, Application Security, and Network Security.
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions to enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (preferably Zoho CRM).
