Required Technical and Professional Experience
+ 5-7 years of proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
+ Strong expertise in SQL Server versions (2016/2019/2022 preferred).
+ Solid experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
+ Hands-on experience with backup and recovery strategies.
+ In-depth knowledge of HA/DR configurations.
+ Familiarity with SQL Server security and compliance best practices.
+ Proficiency in T-SQL and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g., SQL Sentry, Redgate, SolarWinds, or native SQL tools).
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
+ Experience working as a Data Engineer and/or in cloud modernization
+ Experience in Data Modelling, to create conceptual model of how data is connected and how it will be used in business processes
+ Professional certification, e.g., Open Certified Technical Specialist with Data Engineering Specialization
