The Impact:
The Quantitative Modeling (QM) group develops all quantitative models that power the Global Insight's desktop solutions, within one of the strategic businesses of S&P Global Market Intelligence. Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive SAP BTP Lead Consultant with 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP technologies, including significant expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions on BTP, while also guiding a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
This is a techno-functional leadership role that requires a solid foundation in SAP integration, extension, and cloud-native application development within the BTP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and development of applications and integrations on SAP BTP.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using BTP services such as:
o SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors)
o SAP Extension Suite (CAP/RAP, Business Application Studio, Fiori/UI5)
o Event Mesh, SAP HANA Cloud, Workflow Management
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and architecture.

- Provide hands-on development and mentoring to junior developers on best practices in BTP.
- Manage technical delivery, ensuring code quality, performance, and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain reusable components, tools, and frameworks.
- Lead technical workshops, presentations, and client interactions.
- Stay updated on the SAP roadmap and evaluate new tools and services in the BTP landscape.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of SAP experience, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP.
- Strong expertise in Integration Suite, API Management, Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Proficiency in extension development using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming), Node.js, Java.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, Business Application Studio, and Git.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, OData services, REST APIs, and OAuth2.0/SAML.
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and extensibility options.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
