We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Manager to oversee both Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) functions. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets, ensuring optimal usage, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
Software Asset Management (SAM):
- Track and manage software licenses, entitlements, and renewals across all business units.
- Ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
- Prepare for and support internal or external software audits.
- Monitor usage trends to optimize license allocation and reduce unnecessary spend.
- Collaborate with IT Security for whitelist/blacklist software and license control.
General (HAM + SAM):
- Maintain and continuously improve the IT asset management database (CMDB).
- Develop reports and KPIs to track asset lifecycle, compliance, and cost.
- Work closely with IT, procurement, legal, and finance teams to align on policies and procedures.
- Drive automation and improvements in asset tracking and reporting systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6 years of experience in IT Asset Management, with exposure to both hardware and software.
- Familiarity with ITAM/SAM tools (ServiceNow, Snow, etc.).
- Understanding of software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, user/device-based).
- Excellent data analysis, documentation, and reporting skills.

Experience
● 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and hardware operations, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing distributed teams and multi-vendor ecosystems.
