Your Role
Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining technical documentation for Atlas Copco products.

What we expect of you?

  • Write, update and create Instruction manuals, quick start guide, product instructions.
  • Collect, evaluate, check and complete all information
  • Possess the knowledge of, and accurately apply, the English language including the meaning of words, rules of composition, and grammar
  • Align with priorities set by the Global team
  • Develop strong product knowledge and understanding of target audience users and personas
  • Organize material and complete writing assignments in accordance with set standards regarding order, clarity, style, and terminology to deliver high quality documentation
  • Apply style guides and authoring checklists to maintain documentation quality
  • Work with other writers, Product Managers, service/marketing team to identify gaps in documentation of functionality and complete the required documentation
  • Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others ensuring a consistent "look and feel."
  • Work closely with technical authors and assess their work for correct and consistent use of the source language.
  • Skills

  • Experience in authoring tools such as MS word, Oxygen editor, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe InDesign
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical writer
  • Ability to write English clearly and concisely using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Proven ability to write conceptual, task-oriented, and reference documentation
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience writing to a style guide and to meet authoring requirements
  • Experience with MS TEAMS to track your work and collaborate with the product teams
  • Capable of effectively working with multiple stakeholders in cross-cultural, global teams
  • STE certification and course in Technical communication is an added advantage
  • Well organized and able to operate independently

    Amazon Business is seeking a results-driven, nimble, and customer-obsessed technical writer to define Integration content. Our documentation team plays a vital role in providing thought leadership internally to protect and improve Developer Success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by working with a terrific technical team to advocate for the needs of developers, explore innovative solutions to the complex issues developers face, and deliver high-quality technical documentation.
    The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a technical background that enables them to collaborate effectively with Software Engineers, Solutions Architects, Product Managers, and Technical Program Managers while delivering high-quality technical documentation.
    Basic Qualifications
    - 3+ years of designing and producing content for a technical audience, such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or IT professionals experience
    - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, English, Technical Writing, or a related field
    - Experience in designing and producing content for a technical audience, such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or IT professionals
    - Experience with cloud computing or web services or related areas
    - Experience with XML-based publishing systems
    - Experience working directly with engineering teams on a product for a technical audience, such as developers, DevOps, IT professionals, engineers or scientists
    Preferred Qualifications
    - Experience using and following a style guide
    - Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web
    - Experience working with Agile project management methodologies
    - Experience working with Git or an equivalent distributed version control system

    Job Description:

    Role: You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating all technical and operational documents as well as maintaining the Knowledge base, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility for internal teams and end-users. You'll work closely with product managers, developers, customer success teams to deliver accurate and user-friendly content.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation, including:
    • Helpdesk articles and self-serve knowledge base
    • Product FAQs and How-to Guides
    • Internal SOPs and process documents
    • Collaborate with product and tech teams to understand features and document them for end-users and internal use.
    • Own the structure and version control of documentation repositories (e.g., Google Drive, Notion, Confluence, or similar platforms).
    • Regularly audit and update existing documents to reflect product updates or policy changes.
    • Coordinate with customer support to identify common queries and proactively build help content.
    • Ensure consistency in tone, format, and terminology across all written materials.


    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 2–4 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
    • Strong command over written English, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
    • Familiarity with tools like Zendesk, Notion, Confluence, Google Workspace, or similar platforms.
    • Basic understanding of SaaS products and B2B workflows is a plus.
    • Experience maintaining documentation version control and structured formatting.


    Good to Have

    • Exposure to UI/UX writing or microcopy.
    • Ability to create visual content such as flowcharts or process diagrams.
    • SEO understanding for help articles.
