About the Role:
The Unit Finance Head will be responsible for leading the finance function with a focus on growth, compliance, and efficiency. The role will drive financial planning, cost and pricing management, and cash flow discipline, while ensuring accuracy in reporting, payroll, and statutory compliance. By leveraging data analytics and AI-based tools, the Unit Finance Head will strengthen analysis, reporting, and governance, support audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to enable seamless financial operations and informed decision-making.
Location: Sahyadri Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Shimoga
Qualification :
- Qualified CA/ CMA
- 8 - 10 years of experience in Business Finance & Accounting post qualification
- Prior experience in Healthcare is mandatory
Key Deliverables:
- Lead finance for the unit with a growth & compliance focused lens.
- Leverage analytics and other AI tools to enhance financial analysis and reporting.
- Drive Cost & Pricing Efficiency through budgeting, analysis, and cost control.
- Manage Cash & Payments, ensure timely deposits, vendor payments, and fund transfers.
- Oversee Payroll & Statutory Compliance for PF, PT, TDS, and other dues.
- Ensure Timely Reporting, including MIS, income statements, and trial balances.
- Coordinate Audits and maintain strong financial controls and governance.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders across teams, vendors, and auditors for seamless finance operations.

Position Summary
The Fabric Marketing Consultant/Manager will be a key driver of our growth in Japan. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the Japanese Brands. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Japanese business culture, market trends, and consumer behavior, and will be adept at building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients. This is a strategic role that requires a blend of market analysis, client-facing skills, and creative marketing expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify key trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the Japanese textile market.
- Analyze consumer preferences and generational differences to tailor the product offerings effectively.
- Client Relationship Management & Marketing:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including fashion brands like UniQlo & Muji etc.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and recommendations on fabric selection.
- Attend fabric presentation meetings to represent WPD.
- Support WPD design team to develop suitable marketing materials (e.g., Hangers, collections, presentations, brochures, etc.
- Provide market-specific feedback to product development and R&D teams to inform future fabric innovations.
- Collaborate with Fabric & Garment marketing teams to ensure effective marketing of WPD products.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand the company's client base in Japan.
- Work closely with the sales team to set and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, marketing, sales, or a consulting role within the textile, fashion, or a related B2B industry.
- Experience working with Japanese companies and a solid understanding of local business practices and etiquette.
- Skills:
- Fluent in both English and Japanese.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with Japanese business professionals.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and translate it into actionable marketing strategies.
