Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time freelance Curator to develop engaging, accurate, and accessible content for our exhibitions. You will work closely with our senior curator (who provides the structure and final proof), as well as our graphic designers and video makers.
This is a key creative role where you will bring exhibitions to life through research, storytelling, and clear written content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop full texts for exhibition panels (based on structures created by the senior curator), excellent English writing and speaking required.
- Provide detailed design notes for the graphic designer and video maker.
- Write marketing content packages, press releases, and supporting copy for each exhibition. Work closely with our marketing team.
- Carry out fact-checking and first-stage proofreading.
- Support additional writing tasks, including article writing and ghostwriting on behalf of the project leadership.
- Collaborate remotely with the senior curator, designer, and video maker to deliver high-quality exhibitions.

Requirements

- Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and accessible text for public audiences.
- Strong research and editing skills.
- Experience working with international teams (preferred).
Contract & Benefits
- 1-year freelance contract (40 hours per week). Start immediately.
- Annual fee: 8 lacs - 9.5lacs, paid in monthly instalments.
- Remote work with flexible scheduling.
