As a Sustainable Aviation Manager, you'll be a key part of our team delivering projects to reduce the environmental impact of aviation. This role sits within our dedicated Sustainable Aviation team, which is part of the Aviation, Travel and Tourism consulting division. A major focus of the role will be providing advisory services related to sustainability legislation, with particular emphasis on Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) frameworks. MRV is a cornerstone of carbon market mechanisms and climate regulations. It plays a critical role in ensuring environmental integrity, as it not only supports compliance with regulatory requirements but also enhances the credibility and accountability of climate action
In addition to MRV - related work there will be opportunities to contribute to the diverse aviation projects delivered across the wider division. This may include working with senior members of the team to expand our offerings to both new and existing clients.
The role does not have direct line management responsibilities but will require providing key expertise and project management. Line management opportunities may exist in future if desired by the successful candidate.

+ Monitoring Reporting and Verification processes under aviation-related carbon schemes, such as EU ETS or UK ETS, CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) and ReFuelEU Aviation.
+ Preparing or reviewing aircraft operator emissions reports and compliance documentation.
+ Undertaking commercial aircraft operational fuel planning, fuel monitoring and data management.
+ Airline ESG data collection and reporting.
+ Excellent research and communication skills including policy research and formal report writing, presentation and client management, primarily in English. **Job Description:**
**As an Application Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:** **?**
**Focus on Automotive and Commercial Vehicle industry customers, drive growth through customer collaboration, new application development, and new product commercialization.**
**Introduce 3M new technology and new products to customers to make breakthrough for NPI introduction.**
**Leveraging 3M to drive Customer Inspired Innovation (CII) programs through market specialization that complement product expertise.**
**Proactively contributing to the development of value propositions for effective commercialization in the competitive market**
**Provide field support for major customers.**
**Improve productivity by leveraging e-tools.**
**Qualification**
**Bachelor's degree+ in material science or mechanical related majors**
**3+ years of application development or process development experience**
**Experience in automotive industry would be a plus**
**Collaborates with colleagues in local and global to innovate, influence, and/or negotiate when required**
**Maintains awareness of current and developing safety, health and environmental policies and procedures, applies same to all assignments.**
**Fluency in English, comfortable to work in a global organization**
**Self-motivated**
