Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Architecture

This position is responsible for defining and ensuring successful delivery of the portfolio of expansion projects for NTT GDC India Data Center capacity and footprint. Key activities include:

**Responsibilities/Duties:**
- Hold the day to day responsibility for the management, co-ordination and driving of all aspects of approximately 3-4 expansion projects within the region as delegated by the Line Manager.

- With support from public affairs teams, prepare and execute a public and political engagement plan that appropriately raises the profile of the project, communicates the benefits and impacts to the public, and ensures an efficient statutory approval process.
- Achieving the necessary planning permissions for the development by identifying the requirements, critical path and required partners and contractors/sub consultants required to execute the required applications.
- Define design requirement and in conjunction with design, deliver project plans that meet operational, leasing, aesthetic and budget parameters up to the point of hand over into delivery.
- Agree the project brief and review the requirements in line with project strategy and original business case.
- Monitor programs for the delivery of design and permitting and ensure that projects remain on program and look to better speed to market and shorten the overall delivery time.

**Responsibilities**
+ Drive the development of localized designs leveraged from programmatic design, supporting procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout and hand-off to the Operations Team while meeting safety, cost, schedule and quality goals and established customer requirements.
+ Establish and maintain delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors, measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
+ Develop growth plans and lead talent recruitment initiatives, delivering onboarding programs to ensure the success of newly-added team members.
+ Lead the identification, selection and onboarding of new regional contractors and vendors to increase the current bench.
+ Manage a large, campus-wide data centre construction and delivery organisation with the DCS Manager as the single point of accountability and oversight related to major, new construction projects, or large capital improvement projects in existing facilities, utilising internal and outsourced resources.

Key job responsibilities
-Management and leadership of DCEO Engineering Team. Executes vision and goals for the team or department.
-Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance (both routine and emergency) of the critical infrastructure supporting IT operations of Data Centers. Has primary responsibility for availability zone of Data Centers.

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience

AWS Infrastructure Services owns and operates global data center facilities that require skilled maintenance engineers to ensure continuous operations. We are expanding our team to include Electrical Service Engineers who will be responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and operations. This position will serve as the primary technical resource for electrical systems maintenance within AWS data centers in India. The role requires hands-on management of electrical infrastructure, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response. The position will require 24x7 on-call support and rotational shifts (need basis general shift).

Key job responsibilities Following are the primary responsibilities (but not limited to) of the Electrical Service Engineer:
Electrical Systems Maintenance & Operations: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of critical electrical equipment including HV/MV/LV panels, Circuit Breakers, RMUs, Transformers, VFDs, Motors, Battery systems, and UPS systems· Conduct non-destructive testing including Thermography, Partial Discharge Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing· Ensure personnel safety and infrastructure protection through risk management protocols · Comply with all safety regulations and standards· Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and support procurement processes· Facilitate technical training and manage work order approvals. A day in the life
In day today scale, you will be involved in:
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, and facility MEP management.
- Provide operational readings and key performance indicators to make sure uptime is maintained
- Responsible for the on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation.
- Performance and oversight of maintenance and operations on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
- Work schedule changes depending on specific site needs. Shifts can be up to 12-hours and may rotate on a predefined schedule. Some locations have on-call rotations.
