We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Game Designer to join our team and help build
world-class, free-to-play casual mobile games.
As a core team member of a new Business Unit at Gameskraft, you’ll be instrumental in
launching and scaling our flagship casual mobile game titles. You’ll collaborate closely
with artists, engineers, product and live-ops to design engaging core loops,
monetisation (IAP) funnels, progression systems and social features that drive retention
and revenue on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Game Concept & Systems Design:
- Develop and iterate on core gameplay loops, progression systems,
reward economies and IAP funnels tailored for casual audiences.
- Write and maintain detailed design documentation, flowcharts,

Monetization & Live-Ops
- Design and balance in-game currencies, item shops, sales promotions,

About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Game Designer to join our team and help build
world-class, free-to-play casual mobile games.
As a core team member of a new Business Unit at Gameskraft, you’ll be instrumental in
launching and scaling our flagship casual mobile game titles. You’ll collaborate closely
with artists, engineers, product and live-ops to design engaging core loops,
monetisation (IAP) funnels, progression systems and social features that drive retention
and revenue on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Game Concept & Systems Design:
- Develop and iterate on core gameplay loops, progression systems,
reward economies and IAP funnels tailored for casual audiences.
- Write and maintain detailed design documentation, flowcharts,
wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Monetization & Live-Ops
- Design and balance in-game currencies, item shops, sales promotions,
events and A/B tests to optimize ARPDAU and LTV.
- Analyse engagement and purchase data; collaborate with the analytics
Team to identify opportunities and iterate on features.
Economy Design Basics
- Architect and balance virtual economies, including currency sinks, reward
pacing, and IAP pricing structures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work hand-in-hand with UX/UI, art and engineering teams to implement,
Polish and QA new features.
- Ideate & help design feature roadmaps, share input on user acquisition campaigns, and participate in live events.
Player Research & Testing
- Conduct internal playtests and collaborate on external user tests to
validate fun, balance and IAP design.
- Gather player feedback from communities, reviews and in-game telemetry to inform design decisions.
Documentation & Communication
- Articulate design rationale, priorities and requirements in regular sprint/planning meetings.
- Mentor team members, sharing best practices in casual F2P and IAP-driven design.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 4–5+ years as a Game Designer, with at least one shipped, monetized F2P casual mobile title (iOS/Android).
- Portfolio: Demonstrable case studies of systems you’ve designed—especially IAP funnels, progression loops or card/board-style mechanics.
- Proficiency with Unity (pivoting designs into working prototypes).
- Strong grasp of F2P economy design, live-ops strategies and A/B testing frameworks.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to translate designs into specs.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable interpreting telemetry data, using tools like Game Analytics, Firebase, Amplitude or similar.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to author clear, organised design specs and present to stakeholders
Preferred Qualification:
- Direct experience on card-based or casino-style casual games (e.g., Poker,
- Solitaire, Rummy, Deck-building CCGs).
- Experience working in fast paced / agile environments.
- Understanding of social features (friend invites, chat, leaderboards)

This role will be responsible for creating feature specifications, coming up with gameplay mechanics and designing systems for existing features. They will be part of a small design team and work closely with the lead game designer. They will collaborate with the concept/art (2D, 3D) / animation team to create features that are in line with the vision and emotional experience of the game as defined by our creative director.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create concepts for new and innovative gameplay mechanics
- Write clear and concise feature specifications (GDDs)
- Describing core game loop, surfacing, tutorial, audio/visual feedback, etc.
- Incorporate feedback from the design lead
- Collaborate with art (2D, 3D) and animation teams while they create assets as per defined specifications
- Coordinate with the development team as they develop the feature/gameplay mechanic
- Implement gameplay by collaborating with developers or by configuring the necessary parameters inside the game engine (Unity IDE)
- Create the gameplay scenario, missions, quests, etc.
- Tune the system design parameters (balancing)
- Playtest the game after each feature implementation
