**About your role:**
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Professional II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
**What you'll do:**
+ Design, develop, and implement software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
+ Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
+ Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes.

**Experience you'll need to have:**
+ 3+ years of experience in software development
+ 3+ year(s) of experience in Core Java, J2EE, Swing AWT, EJB
+ 2+ year(s) of experience in SQL databases
+ 1+ year(s) of experience in Maven & GIT
+ 2+ year(s) of experience with Agile methodologies
+ 3+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
**Experience that would be great to have:**
+ Experience in the financial services industry
