Job Purpose:
This role drives data-based problem solving within the Growth team . The person will work closely with business teams to understand growth challenges, translate them into analytical problems, and deliver insights that improve acquisition, engagement, and retention. The role involves deep hands-on analysis across multiple data sets to support data-driven decision-making for the app and loan products.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Business Understanding & Problem Solving
- Partner with Growth and Product teams to understand key challenges and priorities.
- Translate business goals into analytical problems with measurable outcomes.
- Ensure insights directly influence strategy and execution.
2. Analytics & Insight Generation
- Lead analytical projects and dashboards for app installs, user funnel, and marketing performance.
- Build models to identify users likely to install, churn, or uninstall the app.
- Run exploratory analysis to uncover new areas of opportunity, generate hypotheses, and quickly assess the potential upside of a given opportunity
- Work with data engineering to develop and implement new analytical tools and improve our underlying data infrastructure
- Analyze, forecast, and build custom reports to make key performance indicators and insights available to the entire company
3. Segmentation & Targeting
- Develop data-driven segments for Personal Loan, Business Loan, app installs, and engagement features like Credit Score, Bill Payments, and Standalone Insurance.
- Build and refine propensity models to predict high-conversion and high-value cohorts.
- Recommend targeting, timing, and communication strategies to improve performance.
4. Marketing Optimization
- Analyze campaign and channel data to reduce acquisition cost and improve ROI.
- Identify the right channel, timing, and frequency for customer engagement.
- Support experiments and A/B tests to validate strategies.
Qualifications
- B.Tech from a Tier-1/Tier-2 institute with 4-5 years of experience
- MBA is a plus
Work Experience/Skills
- 4-5 years of relevant proven experience from a numbers-driven and analytical marketing environments - perhaps in an online consumer business or a Bank/NBFC
- Strong data handling, interpretive and problem-solving skills with the ability to process large volume of transaction level data and efficiently derive actionable results.
