This consultant will act as the Ansible playbook developer responsible for creating the blueprint that can be replicated as needed. They will make automation seamless by helping build back end features such as virtual machines, load balancers, infrastructure automation and Ansible features (Ansible towers). These playbooks contain modules that are basically actions that run in host machines. The mechanism is followed here is the push mechanism, so ansible pushes small programs to these host machines which are written to be resource models of the desired state of the system. Develop Ansible playbooks and modules.

  • Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support .
  • Develop, configure and administer DevOps and IT automation solutions.
  • Understand and remediate complex issues and topologies of large enterprises
  • Provide technical support to Dev teams around automation solution usage
  • Understand the current technology infrastructure for the assigned business applications.
  • Contribute to the design of future state automated deployment process and architecture.
  • Develop automation scripts/templates/playbooks based on the approved future state deployment architecture.
  • Translates loosely defined requirements into automated build and deployment solutions
  • Works on assigned automation work items supporting the overall infrastructure automation initiative.
  • Identify dependencies, blockers and escalate to managers for timely intervention and resolution of the issues.
  • Provide detailed status updates on assigned work items.
  • Ensures all technical documents are up to date and code written is fully checked into version control systems.
  • Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle complex technological infrastructure automation requirements.
  • Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.

    **Senior Manager - Asset & Configuration Management**

In this vital role, you will shape and drive the strategic roadmap for Amgen's Configuration Management Database (CMDB), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and related IT Service Management (ITSM) processes within the ServiceNow platform.     The Analyst, Configuration Management is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves dedication to ensure safety and efficiency of PSA’s fleet, collaborating cross-functional to drive continuous improvement, and growth opportunities through development of expertise in aircraft configuration management.


    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

    • Manage all configurations/part numbers and subsequent revisions to ensure accurate documentation in OEM, PSA Manuals, and MRO systems, as required by the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
    • Complete rules area runs for Technical Services and Configuration Control, and initiate action on identified issues
    • Initiate Airworthiness Directive (AD) assessment process, as outlined in the GMM, upon receipt from the Chief Inspector
    • Prepare and revise Aircraft Configuration Drawings, as necessary, to reflect the PSA-approved configuration of the CRJ-700/900
    • Collect and resolve all Requests for Technical Services (RFTSs) for configuration changes submitted by frontline staff
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Technical Services leadership


    ALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:

    Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, or a related field
    • 3 years of experience in aircraft configuration management, maintenance, or a related field
    • FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience


    Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

    • Experience with PSA' systems and processes
    • Familiarity with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)
    • Knowledge of aircraft configuration management software and tools
    • Certification in aircraft configuration management or a related field


    Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in document management and control systems
    • Certification in aircraft configuration management or a related field (e.g., FAA, EASA, or equivalent)
