Role Overview
As a core team member, you will be responsible for delivering value-driven consulting, compliance, and financial advisory services . This role offers exposure across a variety of domains including accounting, indirect/direct taxes, GST litigation, secretarial compliance, and Virtual CFO mandates.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
· Review and manage client books of accounts
· Supervise accounting teams and finalization of financials
· Build MIS reports, financial models, and dashboards for clients
· Support Virtual CFO mandates and business planning
Taxation & Compliance
· Handle GST filings, audits, assessments , and show cause replies
· Support income tax filings , tax audits, and e-proceedings
· Perform reconciliations, 2A/2B matching, and credit tracking
· Lead compliance reviews and prepare audit documentation
Litigation & Representation
· Draft replies to departmental notices and represent clients before authorities
· Support ongoing litigation, appeals, and assessments in GST & income tax
· Prepare case files and briefs for senior representation
Corporate Law & Secretarial Work (For CSs)
· Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, and LLP laws
· Handle ROC filings, board resolutions, maintenance of registers, etc.
· Assist in drafting of shareholder agreements, MoUs, and governance frameworks
· Advise on entity structuring, incorporation, and post-incorporation formalities
Cost & Operations Advisory (For CMAs)
· Perform cost audits, variance analysis, and pricing model reviews
· Develop SOPs, internal control frameworks, and risk matrices
· Drive cost optimization exercises and process improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile
Qual ification
· Qualified CA / CS / CMA (from ICAI / ICSI / ICMAI)
Experience
· 0 to 3 years of post-qualification experience
· Candidates with experience in consulting, audit firms, litigation, or advisory roles will be given preference
Skills
· Solid grounding in accounting, taxation, and compliance laws
· Good drafting, communication, and analytical skills
· Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
· Tech-savvy with experience in Tally, Zoho, Excel, and other cloud platforms

- Assign projects and provide guidance to the accounting team to ensure precision, compliance, and timely execution
- Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles
B. Taxation Management :
- Oversee and manage the tax provision and tax compliance processes for various entities
- Prepare and manage tax documentation, addressing all information/data requests in a timely manner
- In-depth knowledge of Direct Taxes, including Tax Deduction at Source (TDS), filing of Income Tax returns, TDS returns, and withholding tax obligations
- Extensive knowledge of Indirect Taxes, particularly Service Tax and GST procedures
- Prepare and submit responses to scrutiny assessments, penalty notices, show cause notices, advance tax notices, rectification letters, and manage appeals effectively
